(Function) With the configuration of the present invention, the purpose of the pyroelectric infrared detector assembled as a component on the board 4 is to input and detect infrared rays mainly generated from the human body. Detecting the ambient temperature conducted through the metal case on the side of an infrared detector has a high possibility of causing a false alarm, and may lead to instability of the detector itself. Therefore, the ambient temperature is conducted from the side metal case of the conventional pyroelectric infrared detector, eliminating unnecessary temperature detection that is detected by the internal element 6, In order to improve reliability without compromising performance, the metal case that covers the sides of the pyroelectric infrared detector is covered with an insulating cap that has relatively poor conductivity for heat sources. The required amount of infrared rays is inputted from the light receiving port on the front of the infrared detector, and the accurate detection function of the pyroelectric infrared detector is generated.

FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of the mounting structure of the heat insulating cap of the present invention, and the heat insulating cap shown in FIGS. By inserting from above into 3,
By inputting infrared rays 7 only to the front light receiving port 5 of the pyroelectric infrared detector 1, the infrared rays 7 are conducted through the metal case 3 on the side of the pyroelectric infrared detector 1, cutting off unnecessary temperatures that may cause malfunctions. Since the infrared rays 7 are input only from the front light receiving port 5 of the pyroelectric infrared detector 1, accurate detection is possible, and the performance of the pyroelectric infrared detector 1 can be increased.

Figure 2 is a front view of the insulation cap, Figure 3 is:
Figure 2 is a side cross-sectional view of the heat insulating cap A-A, which is made of rubber and has a pyroelectric infrared detector 1.
It is inserted so as to cover the metal case 3 on the outside of the side surface, and is placed in close contact with the metal case 3. Since it is made of rubber, heat conduction is poor and it is not affected by the surrounding temperature, and accurate infrared rays are emitted from the front light receiving port 5. 7 inputs can be obtained, desired detection is possible, and the performance of the equipment used by the pyroelectric infrared detector 1 can be increased.

(Effects of the invention) With the above configuration, the present invention eliminates unnecessary temperature detection around the metal case outside the side of the pyroelectric infrared detector by installing a heat insulating cap. When using equipment that uses detectors,
It is free from false alarms, which is the biggest problem with this detector, and is widely used as a mounting structure for high-performance pyroelectric infrared detectors in intruder alarms, automatic doors, flame sensors, etc. due to its stable operation, and is widely used in human life. There are useful benefits.
