【考案の詳細な説明】 〔技術分野〕 本考案は電動歯ブラシ、詳しくは駆動軸に取り
付けられた歯ブラシを駆動軸方向に往復駆動する

図に示す如く駆動軸に防水キヤツプを水密的に取
り付けて駆動機構部を収納したケーシングの防水
を行つているが、この防水キヤツプは略円錐形状
に形成され、上部中央部に駆動軸が貫挿されて嵌
着され、下部周縁がケーシング上端部周縁に取り
付けられているため、電動機にて高速で上下駆動
される駆動軸の上下動に伴つて、その駆動軸との
嵌着部が上下動して全体が周期的に変形するもの
である。ここで、第8図a〜dは防水キヤツプの
微小時間における変形状態を模式的に示すもので
あつて、図のaからdに至る変形を周期的に繰り
返す。この図からも明らかなように、防水キヤツ
プの周側部が波打つて複雑に振動しており、この
ため防水キヤツプの周囲の空気を振動させて騒音
を発生させることになる。以上のように、歯ブラ
シを上下方向に往復駆動する電動歯ブラシにあつ
ては、防水キヤツプにて騒音が発生するという問
題点があつた。

部に形成された小径の軸保持筒部3と、これらの
取付筒部2および軸保持筒部3を連結する円錐周
面状の周側部4とから構成されていて全体として
ほぼ円錐状を呈している。

柄部26の先端にナイロン等からなるブラシ27
を多数本植毛して形成したもので、柄部26の下
端部に形成された凹部29に駆動軸24の先端部
を嵌合することによつて着脱自在に取り付けられ
る。なお、第1図において28はスイツチを示し
ている。

からなる振動吸収部材5が防水キヤツプ1内に収
納されていることによつて、電動歯ブラシを落下
させた場合等に、防水キヤツプ1の周側部4が異
物に当つても、周側部4がケーシング6内の部品
に直接に接することがなく、周側部4に破れが生
じるということがない。

り、前記防水キヤツプ内に収納されるとともに、
防水キヤツプの内周面に当接する振動吸収部材を
備えているので、駆動軸の往復動に伴つて防水キ
ヤツプが変形することによつて防水キヤツプの周
側部に発生する振動を振動吸収部材にて吸収する
ことができ、防水キヤツプの振動によつて騒音が
発生するということを防止できるという効果を奏
する。
