Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve shield characteristics by providing a resin film having soft magnetic thin films around a core having a winding, and to reduce variation of the inductance by fitting the core having the film wound thereon into a magnetic shield case and adjusting the gap. CONSTITUTION:A synthetic resin film 6 having soft magnetic thin films 6b, which are formed on film substrates 6a by plating with permalloy or the like. One or more tums of the film is provided around a core 1 having a winding 2, and the end portion of the film 6 is fixed by welding or bonding. The core 1 having the film 6 wound thereon is fitted into a magnetic shield case 3 of a sintered ferrite material. The film 6 acts as the spacer between the winding 2 and the magnetic shield case 3, and the gap G between the winding 2 and the magnetic shield case 3 becomes constant, leading to reduction in variation of the inductance value. Additionally, it is excellent in magnetic shield characteristics and electrically insulated, so that it also provides electrical insulation from other electric components and acts as a protector of the inductor.
