産業上の利用分野 本発明は広くは化粧料、さらに詳しくは、眼の
周辺部にすぐれた清涼感、冷感を与え、すぐれた
眼の疲労回復効果と共に目覚まし効果をもつたア
イパツク剤に関する。さらに、本発明はこのアイ
パツク剤を用いたアイパツク具にも関する。 発明の背景 従来から、皮膚表面、ことに顔面皮膚表面に適
用し、皮膚の健康や美容の維持、向上を図るため
の化粧料として、各種のパツク剤が知られてい
る。しかし、これらパツク剤は顔面には塗布しう
るが眼周辺部は避けなければならない。一方、眼
周辺部に適用できるものとして、不織布に保湿剤
等を含浸させたアイパツク剤およびアイパツク具
などが知られている。 このアイパツク剤およびアイパツク具は、眼周
辺部に適用するものであるから、眼に混入する恐
れのないものであることはもちろん、眼に対して
刺激を与えるものであつてはならない。眼の疲労
回復、目覚まし効果を得る方法として、l−メン
トール等の冷感剤による冷感を利用することが考
えられるが、該冷感剤は一般に目に対する不快な
刺激が強く、また、従来のアイパツク剤、アイパ
ツク具では、眼に混入する恐れもあり、冷感剤を
配合した所望の性能を有するアイパツク剤、アイ
パツク具は見当たらない。 このような事情のもと、本発明者は、冷感剤を
配合した、良好な性能を有するアイパツク剤を得
るべく、鋭意検討した。その結果、特定のパツク
基剤と、特定の冷感剤を用いることにより、アイ
パツクとして、すぐれた清涼感、冷感を与えるこ
とのできる良好な性能のアイパツク剤およびアイ
パツク具が得られることを見出し、本発明を完成
するにいたつた。 発明の概要 本発明は、アイパツク剤の全量に基づいて、ポ
リアクリル酸ナトリウム1〜10重量%、水酸化ア
ルミニウムゲル0.01〜1重量%、および軽質無水
ケイ酸および/または含水ケイ酸0.1〜5重量%
と、3−l−メントキシプロパン−1,2−ジオ
ール0.01〜2重量%および/またはl−メントー
ル0.05〜1重量%を配合してなる、水分含量が少
なくとも55重量%以上のアイパツク剤を提供する
ものである。本発明のアイパツク剤においては、
刺激をさけるところから、有機酸により、PHを4
〜7に調整することが好ましい。また、本発明は
このアイパツク剤を、眼周辺部を被覆しうる長方
形状でその1長辺部中央部に鼻の***を避ける凹
部を有する支持体に延展塗布し、かつ、その表面
を剥離可能な被覆体で被覆したアイパツク具も提
供する。本発明のアイパツク剤およびアイパツク
具は、眼や皮膚に対して刺激がなく、長期間保存
しても安定で、保水性にすぐれ、皮膚に対する水
分補給効果が高く、常時適度な粘弾性と貼着性を
有し、透明で清潔感があり、しかも、即効的な冷
感作用から遅効的な冷感作用まで自在に冷感を調
整でき、冷感作用を持続させることが可能で、き
わめてすぐれた清涼感、冷感を与えることができ
る。これにより、アイパツクとして用いると、す
ぐれた眼の疲労回復効果と共に、目ざまし効果が
発揮される。 発明の詳説 本発明のアイパツク剤においては、ポリアクリ
ル酸ナトリウム(通常、平均重合度10000〜
100000)、水酸化アルミニウムゲル、および軽質
無水ケイ酸および/または含水ケイ酸を水の存在
下に混合することにより、高含水性の、アイパツ
ク剤として好適な弾力性のあるゲルが形成され
る。軽質無水ケイ酸および含水ケイ酸は、どちら
か一方でも、あるいは両者を併用してもよい。得
られるゲルの性状から、ポリアクリル酸ナトリウ
ムの配合量はアイパツク剤全量に基づいて1〜10
重量%、水酸化アルミニウムゲルは0.01〜1重量
%、軽質無水ケイ酸および/または含水ケイ酸は
0.1〜5重量%とする。 このゲル形成の際、得られるゲルの性状の向上
およびアイパツク剤の刺激抑制の観点から、PHを
4〜7に調整することが望ましい。このPH調整は
各種の有機酸、例えば、乳酸、酒石酸、リンゴ
酸、クエン酸、グリコール酸などを用いて行うこ
とができるが、特に保湿性の良好なゲルが得られ
るところから、乳酸でPH調整を行うことが好まし
い。 アイパツク剤の使用上の観点から、水分含量は
アイパツク剤全量に基づいて、少なくとも55重量
%とすることが望ましい。 本発明のアイパツク剤においては、冷感剤とし
て、3−l−メントキシプロパン−1,2−ジオ
ールおよびl−メントールのどちらか一方、ある
いは両者を併用して用いる。3−l−メントキシ
プロパン−1,2−ジオールは遅効的な、持続的
な冷感効果を示す冷感剤であり。0.01〜2重量%
の範囲で配合する。このものは、刺激性は少ない
が、多量に加えると、眼周辺部に適用した場合、
痛みを生じることがある。l−メントールは即効
的な冷感効果を示す冷感剤であり、多くなりすぎ
ると刺激を生じるので、0.05〜1重量%の範囲で
配合する。本発明のアイパツク剤においては、こ
とに、3−l−メントキシプロパン−1,2−ジ
オールとl−メントールを併用することが好まし
く、両者の割合を適宜変化させることにより、冷
感を自在に調節し、持続性のある好適な清涼感、
冷感を発揮させることができる。 本発明のアイパツク剤は、例えば、水に軽質無
水ケイ酸および/または含水ケイ酸を分散させ、
これに水酸化アルミニウムゲルを加えて攪拌し、
ついで、ポリアクリル酸ナトリウム、3−l−メ
ントキシプロパン−1,2−ジオールおよび/ま

とも可能であるが、通常、ナイロン不織布やポリ
エステル不織布のような基材上に展延塗布し、剥
離シートで表面を被覆したシート状の本発明のア
イパツク具の形態にして眼周辺部の皮膚表面に適
用される。 つぎに実施例を挙げて本発明をさらに詳しく説
明する。実施例中、「%」はいずれも重量%を意
味する。 実施例 1 水61.5%に軽質無水ケイ酸2%を分散し、これ
に水酸化アルミニウムゲル0.2%、カルボキシメ
チルセルロースナトリウム0.7%およびグリセリ
ン5%の混合物を加えて攪拌した。ついで、これ
に、平均重合度30000〜40000のポリアクリル酸ナ
トリウム6%、プロピレングリコール5%、グリ
セリン15%、3−l−メントキシプロパン−1,
