TECHNICAL BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION AND PROBLEMS OF THE INVENTION At present, a phenyl group-containing silicone rubber is generally used as a rubber packing material for an extremely low temperature of -50 ° C. or less such as an LNG tanker or an environmental tester. . However, although the phenyl group-containing silicone rubber maintains a rubbery state at -50 ° C or lower, it has a drawback that the rubber hardness becomes hard and the compression set is considerably deteriorated. Despite these drawbacks, a rubber material for low-temperature packing, which replaces the phenyl group-containing silicone rubber, has not been provided so far, and development of a new rubber material has been strongly desired.

In the polyorganosiloxane of the component (A), the proportion of the siloxane units of the (I) in the total siloxane units is in the range of 3 to 20 mol%, preferably 5 to 5.
It is 10 mol%. If it is less than 3 mol% or more than 20 mol%, the rubber hardness and compression set at low temperature become poor.
R 1 of the siloxane units (I) is a group represented by -CH 2 CH 2 R f, trifluoromethyl As R f, pentafluoroethyl and the like, and the R 1, synthesis, to obtain From the viewpoint of ease of use, -CH 2 CH 2 CF 3 is preferable. R 2 is a methyl group. In the polyorganosiloxane as the component (A), 0.02 to 0.5 mol% of the substituents bonded to silicon atoms are vinyl groups, and preferably 0.05 to 0.3 mol%. If this ratio is less than 0.02 mol%, the number of crosslinking points decreases,
If the compression set characteristics are deteriorated and the amount exceeds 0.5 mol%, the rubber becomes brittle. Further, R 3 of the siloxane unit of (II) is the same or different substituted or unsubstituted monovalent hydrocarbon group or a hydrogen atom, and examples thereof include an alkyl group such as methyl, ethyl, propyl and butyl, vinyl, allyl and the like. Alkenyl groups, aryl groups such as phenyl, β-phenylethyl, β
And aralkyl groups such as phenylpropyl.
Of these, a hydrogen atom, a methyl group, and an ethyl group are preferable in addition to the vinyl group because of their ease of synthesis and availability, and a methyl group is particularly preferable because of their compression set and ease of synthesis. Further, two kinds of raw rubbers having different vinyl groups can be blended and used for the purpose of providing high tearability, but the vinyl group amount after blending is required to be in the range of 0.02 to 0.5 mol%. In addition, the raw rubbers to be used by blending each require that the siloxane units of (I) be in the range of 3 to 20 mol% of the total siloxane units. The polyorganosiloxane has an average degree of polymerization of 1000 to 10000. If it is less than 1000, the rubber strength is insufficient, and if it exceeds 10,000, the workability is deteriorated. Particularly, 3000 to 8000 is preferable.

The reinforcing silica filler as the component (B) used in the present invention is added for the purpose of increasing the strength of the composition. Such fillers include, for example, fumed silica, wet silica and its calcined silica, and those surface-treated with organosilane, cyclic polysiloxane, linear polysiloxane, organosilazane, or the like, or a blend thereof. And those having a specific surface area of 50 m 2 / g or more. If it is less than 50 m 2 / g, a sufficient reinforcing effect cannot be obtained. The amount of this filler compounded is 10 to 100 parts by weight, preferably 20 to 50 parts by weight, per 100 parts by weight of component (A).
If it is less than 10 parts by weight, the strength of the rubber is not sufficient, and if it exceeds 100 parts by weight, the rubber becomes brittle and cannot be used as a packing material.

Examples of the organic peroxide as the component (C) include dicumyl peroxide, ditertiary butyl peroxide, 2,5-dicumyl-2,5-di (tertiary butyl peroxy) hexane, and 2,5. -Dicumyl-2,5-di (tertiarybutylperoxy) hexyne, di (tert-butylperoxy) diisopropylbenzene and 1,1'-di (tert-butylperoxy) -3,3,5-
Examples include trimethylcyclohexane.
In order to handle this organic peroxide easily and safely,
It can also be used by kneading with polydiorganosiloxane to form a paste, or by adsorbing to powder such as calcium carbonate or molecular sieve. The blending amount of the organic peroxide as the component (C) is 0 with respect to 100 parts by weight of the component (A).
1 to 10 parts by weight. If the compounding amount is less than 0.1 part by weight, the rubber is not sufficiently crosslinked, and even if it is used in an amount exceeding 10 parts by weight, not only there is no effect but also the heat resistance decreases due to the remaining decomposition products.

40 parts of 200 m 2 / g fumed silica filler and 0.5 parts of dicumyl peroxide were uniformly mixed using a kneader to obtain a silicone rubber compound. The silicone rubber compound thus obtained was press-vulcanized at 170 ° C. for 10 minutes under a pressure of 40 kg / cm 2 to obtain a 2 mm thick sheet. These sheets were post-vulcanized in an oven at 200 ° C. for 4 hours and used as test samples. Using this test sample, a physical property test was conducted according to JIS K6301. Further, the change in hardness of the test piece at low temperature and the compression set at low temperature were measured. The results are shown in Table 1.
