Abstract

PURPOSE:To sweep away abrasion scraps produced by sliding contact or dust or burr taken in from the surroundings by inclining a linear slide contact surface at 5 deg. to 25 deg. perpendicularly to the longitudinal direction. CONSTITUTION:A linear slide contact portion is inclined at 5 deg. to 25 deg. perpendicularly to in the contact longitudinal direction of an inverted L-shaped slide contact 1 having a contact portion constituted of a tape or plate member. An effect cannot be expected much in the case of less than 5 deg. while the whole length of the contact becomes longer in the case of more than 25 deg. with difficulty in handling. Accordingly, abrasion scraps, dust or dirt is difficult to be piled up or easy to be swept away. The contact can be easily assembled in an opposite substrate in the longitudinal direction with high assembling accuracy in assembling work. Furthermore, if a contact having slits and a plurality of contact surfaces is such constituted that the slits are made in different length, each natural oscillation can be made different, thereby preventing resonance. Consequently, it is possible to obtain a long lifetime in a stable contact state.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, a sliding contact 1'having a so-called scratch brush having an inverted L-shaped tip has been used. This sliding contact has the excellent characteristic that the contact area is always constant because the tip portion slides vertically to the sliding surface. However, since the contact is substantially right-angled, it is easier to collect dust, dust, and the like caught from wear powder and the surrounding environment during sliding contact, and it is difficult to remove it, as compared with a sliding contact having a curved contact portion. Contact instability tends to occur during use, and improvements in this respect have been demanded.

The technical means of the present invention for solving the above-mentioned problems is an inverted L having a contact portion made of a tape material or a plate material.
The character-shaped sliding contact is characterized by having a linear sliding contact surface at an angle of 5 to 25 degrees with respect to a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the sliding contact.

According to the sliding contact of the present invention constructed as described above, since the sliding contact surface has an angle in the sliding contact operation direction with the counter substrate, slidable sliding contact can be achieved. It is difficult for dust particles, dust, and dust to accumulate, and is easy to remove. Here, the angle is preferably 5 to 25 degrees, and 5
If it is less than 25 degrees, the effect is small, and if it exceeds 25 degrees, the sliding contact becomes long and difficult to handle. The sliding contact mechanism includes rotary motion, linear motion, unidirectional motion, and reciprocating motion, but any of them is effective.
Further, since it has an oblique angle with respect to the longitudinal direction of the sliding contact, the longitudinal direction of the sliding contact can be used as a reference when assembling the device with the counter substrate, so that the assembling accuracy is good and the assembling is easy. Further, particularly in a sliding contact having a slit portion and a plurality of contact surfaces, since it is a linear contact surface having an angle, the length of the tip portion is different when the slit length is individually different, and therefore, The individual individual frequencies are different and are preferable because they do not resonate at the time of sliding contact. However, even if the slit lengths 2 are the same as shown in FIG. 3, they work effectively.

On the other hand, as a conventional example, a sliding contact 1'having the same material as that of the example and having a length of 5 mm in the longitudinal direction was formed as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7 except that it had an oblique angle. Further, about 100 pieces each of the example and the conventional example were attached to the end portions of the base material made of phosphor bronze by electric resistance welding to obtain sliding movers.

A sliding contact test was conducted under the following conditions. Circuit material Carbon resistor, substrate material Circular contact substrate made of ceramics 10grf, rotation speed 180 times /
Minutes, energization 2.4mA, voltage 12V 3 million times. As a result, in the conventional example, the voltage waveform was unstable as shown in FIG. 4, and abrasion powder, dust, and dust were deposited on the contact surface of the sliding contact, whereas in the example, the voltage waveform was as shown in FIG. The waveform was stable and there was no wear debris, dust, or dust accumulation. This is because the sliding contact of the present invention has a linear sliding contact surface at an oblique angle.
