2. Description of the Related Art As a conventional recording paper feeding device, for example, there is one shown in FIG. The recording paper feeding device 11 of the facsimile device shown in FIG. 4A is a heat-sensitive system including a thermal head 12 and a platen roller 13. Normally, at the time of reception, as shown in FIG. The platen roller 13, which is a roller, repeatedly stops and rotates. That is, the displacement P of the outer periphery of the platen roller 13 (hereinafter, simply referred to as displacement P) is an intermittent drive with the passage of time.

In most of the heat-sensitive facsimile machines 11, as shown in FIG. 4A, the recording paper 16 of the recording paper roll 15 housed in the bottom of the box-shaped or groove-shaped holding portion 14 is reversed. The roller 17 reverses and the platen roller 13 pulls and conveys. Some of the facsimile machines 11 do not have the reversing roller 17, and instead of the recording paper roll 15 in the holding unit 14, the recording paper 16 is transferred to the platen roller 13
Some are directly pulled by.

On the other hand, since the platen roller 13 needs to bring the heating element of the thermal head 12 and the recording paper 16 into close contact with each other, as shown in FIG. 5 (a), a roller having a rubber 13B wound around a core metal 13A. Has become.

However, in such a conventional recording paper feeding device 11, the recording paper roll 15 is held by being placed on the bottom of the holding portion 14. Therefore, when the platen roller 13 rotates and the recording paper 16 is pulled, the recording paper roll 15 rotates,
Back tension T is generated on the recording paper 16 when the platen roller 13 is rotated by frictionally contacting the outer peripheral surface of the recording paper roll 15 and the inner surface of the holding portion 14. When the back tension T is small, the rubber 13B of the platen roller 13 is not so much deformed as shown in FIG. 5B, but when the back tension T is large, the rubber 13B is deformed 13a as shown in FIG. 5C. Occurs. Since the recording paper roll 15 has inertia in the rotation direction, even if the platen roller 13 stops and the pulling of the recording paper 16 is stopped, the recording paper roll 15 rotates a little and the recording paper 16 sags. Due to these movements and the intermittent drive of the platen roller 13, the back tension T varies in strength.

The feeding of the recording paper 16 at this time is shown in FIG.
As shown in. That is, in the section (A), the back tension T of the recording paper 16 gradually increases from 0, and the deformation 13a of the rubber of the platen roller 13 gradually increases. Therefore, the recording paper 16 lags behind the rotation amount of the platen roller 13. In the section (B), the back tension T of the recording paper 16 is almost constant and balanced with the deforming force of the rubber. Therefore, the deformation 13a of the rubber becomes constant,

At the beginning of the section (C), the platen roller 13
However, the recording paper 16 sags as described above, and the back tension T becomes close to zero. At this time, the rubber 13B of the platen roller tries to return from the deformed state to the original state,
The recording paper 16 is pulled and sent. Since the printing is performed in the section from FIG. 6A, in the above case, the recording paper is fed by "L" after the printing is completed. As shown in FIGS. 6B and 6C, when the rubber is not deformed, the printing becomes normal at equal intervals, and when the rubber is deformed, the output images overlap each other in the section (A) and the section (c )
Then, the image is missing by the distance L. This phenomenon occurs due to fluctuations in the back tension T due to intermittent driving,
An abnormal image called "white streaks" is generated.

When the platen roller 13 performs an intermittent operation and the back tension T of the recording paper 16 is changed so as to increase, the elastic member 21 is compressed and deformed to absorb the increase in the back tension T, and the back tension T is increased. Suppress the increase of. When the platen roller 13 performs intermittent operation and then stops, the recording paper 1 pulled out from the recording paper roll 15
6 causes slack, but in the present embodiment, since the feed amount of the recording paper 16 due to the deformation of the elastic member 21 is set to be larger than the slack amount of the recording paper 16, the platen roller 13
Even when the recording sheet 1 is stopped, the recording paper 1
No slack is generated in 6 and balance is achieved in the state of the broken line in FIG.

In this state, since the deformation of the elastic member 21 does not become zero, the back tension T also does not become zero. Further, as described above, when the back tension T is increased by driving the platen roller 13, the maximum value of the back tension T is suppressed by the elastic deformation of the elastic member 21. Therefore, the fluctuation of the back tension T is

Therefore, the deformation of the rubber of the platen roller 13 becomes substantially constant, and the recording paper 16 is fed as shown in FIG. FIG. 3 is a graph showing the displacement of the platen roller 13 and the displacement of the recording paper 16 of the embodiment shown in FIG. 1 or 2 against time. As shown in FIG. 3, the displacement amount d of the displacement P of the platen roller and the displacement amount d of the displacement Q of the recording paper 16 are the same except for the first displacement amount d 1 , and substantially match the rotation speed of the platen roller 13. The feeding accuracy of the recording paper 16 can be obtained, and an appropriate image without "white lines" can be obtained.

Since the elastic member 21 and the recording paper roll 15 are in direct contact with each other, it is desirable to attach a smooth member to the surface of the elastic member 21. Also, regarding the elastic member 31, it is desirable to attach a smooth member to the surface thereof, use a member having a good surface condition, or perform a smooth surface treatment. As described above, in this embodiment, by providing the low-cost elastic member 21 inside the holding portion 14, the fluctuation of the back tension T applied to the recording paper 16 can be suppressed and reduced, and the feeding accuracy of the recording paper 16 can be improved. It is possible to improve and obtain an appropriate image.

According to the second aspect of the present invention, the recording paper feeding device has an axial direction of the recording paper roll inside the holding part in the direction in which the recording paper roll moves the bottom part of the holding part during feeding. Since an elastic member that elastically deforms by contacting a part or the whole of the outer peripheral surface of the recording medium is urged by a spring, the fluctuation of the back tension applied to the recording paper is suppressed by the deformation of the elastic member and the spring, and is small. Therefore, it is possible to improve the feeding accuracy of the recording paper and obtain an appropriate image at low cost.
