腐敗などして不衛生になる問題があつた。また、

腐敗し易い夏期においては衛生上問題であつた。
また、給水器の配管は、給餌器内又は給餌器の側
板外側に配置され、豚が直接触れることができる
位置にあるため、豚の配管が豚の悪戯により損傷
し易い。さらに、従来の給餌器は、豚房のコーナ
ー部に設置することができないので、コーナー部
を有効に利用する事ができず、豚房内に給餌器が
大きく突出して設けなければならず、大きな設置
スペースを必要とする欠点がある。
