Conventional devices for detecting mechanical internal abnormalities in tap switching devices under load include a molded circuit breaker installed in the electric operation unit to detect overcurrent of the drive motor, or a one-tap switching device installed in the control panel. Tap traffic jam warning devices that detect delays in time (usually about 5 to 6 seconds) are known. However, due to the large starting current of the drive motor, it is necessary to set the overcurrent value much higher than the normal current value in case of a molded circuit breaker. By the time the on-load tap changer operates, the mechanical internal abnormality of the on-load tap changer is often far advanced, and electrical damage caused by mechanical damage to the on-load tap changer may cause damage to not only the on-load tap changer but also the transformer. There is a risk that the main body of the device may be fatally damaged.
In addition, the tap congestion warning system determines that a mechanical internal abnormality has occurred if no voltage change occurs due to tap switching even if the operating time for one tap switching, which is usually about 5 to 6 seconds, is delayed to about 10 seconds. The system outputs an alarm command signal, and the abnormality cannot be detected until a few seconds have passed after an internal mechanical abnormality that causes tap congestion occurs, and the internal abnormality may progress due to the long delay time. It has the disadvantage of being

In this invention, when there is mechanical galling or abnormal wear in the internal mechanism of the tap switching device under load, the torque of the main drive shaft will abnormally increase from the steady value, causing breakage of the internal drive shaft and biasing parts, and damage to the contactor. This was done with the focus on the fact that when an abnormality such as a chipping occurs, the torque of the main drive shaft will be abnormally lower than the steady value, and that the magnitude of the steady torque and its characteristics over time can be understood empirically. It is equipped with a torque detector that detects the mechanical strain of the main drive shaft made of highly elastic material such as shaft steel, converts it into an electrical signal proportional to the drive torque, and outputs it, and a torque detector that detects an abnormal increase in the torque. an output setting signal of a setting device that issues an upper limit setting signal of about 1.2 to 1.5 times the steady value of the torque detector, and a lower limit setting signal of a low level for determining an abnormal decrease in torque; and an output electric signal of the torque detector. When the output electric signal level of the torque detector deviates from the upper and lower limit set signal levels,
By being configured to include an abnormality detection device comprising a determination section that determines that an internal mechanical abnormality has occurred and issues at least one of a stop command signal and an alarm command signal for the load tap switching device. It is now possible to detect mechanical internal abnormalities in the load tap switching device at an early stage without delay.
Therefore, it is possible to prevent fatal damage to the on-load tap switching device and the main body of the transformer.

FIG. 2 is a characteristic diagram showing the output electric signal of the torque detector and the output setting signal of the setting device in the above-mentioned embodiment. Detector 1
The straight line 22W represents the change over time during the 1-tap switching operation period t starting at time t 0 expressed by the output electric signal level of 1.
In the output upper limit setting signal level of 2, 26W indicates the lower limit side setting torque with the output lower limit setting signal of the time limit circuit 16, respectively. In the figure, time t 0
When the main drive shaft 5 starts rotating, the spring of the energy storage device for opening and closing the switching switch 1 is wound up, and the output electric signal level of the curve 21W gradually increases, and the switching switch 1 opens and closes. Before this, a first peak P 1 appears, which is the level T 1 that occurs when the contact of the tap selector 2 turns off. As the energy storage progresses further, a second peak P 2 appears, which is a level T 2 at which the contact of the polarity switch 3 turns off. As the energy storage progresses further, a third peak P 3 appears, which is the level T 3 for turning on the contact of the polarity switch 3 to the other side.
Next, a peak P 4 at level T 4 appears for which the contact of the tap selector 2 turns on on the other side, and finally, when the spring of the energy storage device is wound up to the maximum level T 5 , the changeover switch 1 opens and closes, and the electrical signal level reaches T 5 when the tap switching operation is completed.
It drops to zero level all at once.

The inventors believe that when the tap switching device under load repeats steady tap switching operations as described above, the torque acting on the main drive shaft stably repeats the radial change represented by curve 21W. It has become clear through many years of experience that when an internal mechanical abnormality such as galling occurs in each contact, the level of one of the peaks P 1 , P 2 , P 3 , P 4 , etc. increases rapidly. It is known. Therefore, the output upper limit setting signal level Tu of the upper limit setter 12 is set to the level of peak P 3 which is the maximum level of the electrical signal.
It is set to about 1.2 to 1.5 times T 3 , and when any of the peak levels T 1 to T 4 of the output electrical signal peak P 1 to P 4 exceeds the set level Tu by the upper limit judgment unit 13 , a mechanical internal abnormality is detected. By configuring the system to output a stop command signal and/or an alarm command signal that immediately stops the tap switching operation of the on-load tap switching device when it is determined that a This can be detected and the progress of damage to various contacts etc. can be prevented.

In addition, if an internal mechanical abnormality occurs during the tap switching period, such as breakage of the energy storage device or drive shaft, or loss of a contact, the main drive shaft will become idling, and the curve 21W
rapidly decreases to zero level. Therefore, a low level T L that does not malfunction due to mechanical noise etc.
The setting signal of the lower limit setter 15 set to
Time limit circuit 1 that passes from t 0 to t 2 hours with a delay of t 1 hour
When the curve 21W drops to the zero level during the period t2 , it is determined that a mechanical internal abnormality has occurred, and both the stop command signal and the alarm command signal are output. By configuring to output either one of them, it is possible to prevent a failure in the tap switching operation and electrical damage to the load tap switching device and the transformer main body due to the failure.

FIG. 3 is a time-varying characteristic diagram of electric signals and setting signals for explaining different embodiments of the present invention. The levels T 1 , T 2 , T 3 , T 4 , T 5 (see Figure 2) of the peaks P 1 , P 2 , P 3 , P 4 , P 5 in the signal curve 21W should be 1.2 to 1.5 times the respective levels. , is different from the above-described embodiment shown in FIG. 2 in that the tap switching operation period t is divided into five time regions t 3 , t 4 , t 5 , t 6 , and t 7 and changed stepwise. It's different. Therefore, the configuration of the abnormality detection device to realize the above situation is as follows:
setters and the output upper limit setting signal of each setter .
By providing a timer circuit that allows the tap to pass for 7 to 7 periods, and five judgment units corresponding to each setter and timer circuit, when a mechanical internal abnormality occurs in the on-load tap switching device, the abnormality is detected. It becomes possible to locate in which mechanical part of the load tap switching device the torque increase has occurred, and there is an advantage that measures such as inspection and repair can be carried out appropriately and quickly.
