Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify taper forming and replacement of a taper member at the connection part where goods transport piping is connected with flanges, by inserting an annular plate for a taper forming member between the flanges and fitting a flat cylindrical body on the upper piping. CONSTITUTION:A flat cylindrical body 9 of tapered inner face 11 and tip edge 12 is installed in protrusion on one side of an annular plate 7 with a goods flow opening 8, so that there is formed a taper forming member 13. Then, when goods transfer piping 1, 2 as pair are to be connected together at respective flanges 3, 4 with bolts 5 and nuts 6, the annular plate 7 is inserted between the flanges 3, 4 and the flat cylindrical body 9 is fitted on the upstream side pipe 1. That is, the flat cylindrical body 9 is inserted into the upper piping l with its edge 12 oriented forward. Then, the annular plate 7 is fitted to the flat cylindrical body 9 with its recess being onto the base of the flat cylindrical body 9. The annular plate 7 is then tightened, thereby connecting together the piping 1, 2.

FIG. 3 shows respective annular plate members constituting the tapered portion forming member,
It shows a flat tubular body. First, in FIG. 1, reference numerals 1 and 2 show the vicinity of a connecting portion of an article transport pipe for transporting dust, grains and various other articles by a fluid such as air, and the pipe 2 on the right side in the figure is for transportation. On the upstream side of the flow of articles, the inner diameter of the upstream pipe 2 is slightly larger than the inner diameter of the downstream pipe 1. Then, flanges 3 and 4 for connection are provided at the end portions of the pipes 1 and 2 on the connection side, and the flanges 3 and 4 are tightened with bolts 5 and nuts 6 for connection.
Further, in FIGS. 1 and 3, reference numeral 7 is the article distribution port 8 in the center.
Is an annular plate body having an annular shape, and the annular plate body 7 is interposed in the flange portions 3 and 4 in the above connection.
The diameter of the article distribution port 8 is formed to be slightly smaller than the inner diameter of the downstream pipe 1. Further, the annular plate body 7 is provided with a mounting recess 10 for mounting the flat cylindrical body 9 on the periphery of the article circulation port 8. As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the flat tubular body 9 has a tapered surface 11 on the inner circumference and a blade portion 12 at the tip. The outer diameter of the flat tubular body 9 is
In fitting with the pipe 1 on the upstream side, no clearance is generated, and the inner diameter on the base end side is equal to the diameter of the article distribution port 8 of the annular plate body 7. Thus, in this embodiment, the tapered plate forming member 13 is constituted by the annular plate body 7 and the flat cylindrical body 9 which are separately configured.

In the above connected state, the article flowing through the upstream pipe 2 by a fluid such as air passes through the tapered portion formed by the tapered surface 11 of the flat tubular body 9,
After passing through the article distribution port 8 of the annular plate body 7 and flowing into the downstream side pipe 1, it is transported, and therefore, due to the taper portion,
The goods can be smoothly transported even at the connecting portions of the pipes 1 and 2.

In the above-described transportation operation, the taper portion and the article distribution port 8 gradually wear due to contact with the article, so that the taper portion must be replaced after a predetermined operating time has passed. Since it is composed of the annular plate body 7 and the flat cylindrical body 9, only these need to be replaced, the work is very easy and the cost is low.

Next, FIG. 4 shows another embodiment of the present invention. This embodiment corresponds to the invention in which the predetermined wear of the tapered portion can be detected outside the connecting portion. .. This FIG. 4 shows the vicinity of the connecting portion of the article transportation pipe as in FIG. 1, and the same components as those in FIG. 1 are designated by the same reference numerals.

In the above construction, the diameter of the article distribution port 8 increases along with the taper portion due to the above-described wear in the article transport operation, and when the other end of the wear detection hole 14 is exposed, the inside of the pipes 1 and 2 is exposed. Is transmitted to the outside of the annular plate body 7 through the wear detecting hole 14. That is, when the article is transported by the flow of suction air formed by the air suction pump configured on the downstream side of the transportation pipe, the pressure on one end side of the wear detection hole 14 decreases, The exposure of the other end, that is, the occurrence of predetermined wear can be detected.
Such a decrease in pressure on the one end side of the wear detecting hole 14 can be detected by using an appropriate pressure responsive means such as a pressure switch.

In this way, the degree of wear detected by the wear detection hole 14 may be such that it can prevent the downstream side pipe 1 from being worn due to further progress of wear.
This can be achieved by setting the other end of the wear detection hole 14 to be exposed when the diameter of the article distribution port 8 of the annular plate body 7 becomes, for example, about the diameter of the downstream pipe 1.

As described above, according to the present invention, since it is not necessary to taper the pipe itself, the tapered portion can be obtained by interposing the member for forming the tapered portion at the connecting portion of the pipe. There is such an effect. Work on site is very easy. Since it is not necessary to taper the pipe made of a material having excellent curability, it is possible to save the labor and cost. As for the wear of the tapered portion, only the member for forming the tapered portion needs to be replaced, so that the replacement work is easy and the cost is low. By providing the wear detecting hole in the annular plate that constitutes the tapered portion forming member, wear of the tapered portion can be detected outside, and maintenance is easy.
