Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は、遮光用ネツト、土木用シート、果物
用コンテナー用シート、穀物乾燥用シート、各種
補強剤などの幅広い用途を有する網状シートに関
するものである。
〔従来の技術〕 熱可塑性合成樹脂の延伸テープの両側に該延伸
テープよりも低融点の熱可塑性合成樹脂層を設け
た多層テープで織物を製造することはすでに知ら
れている。例えば、実公昭53−49902号明細書に
は、このようなテープを用いて、織布を織り、外
側の熱可塑性合成樹脂を融点以上の温度で加熱し
て縦横のテープを熱圧着して織物シートを製造す
ることが開示されている。
ここで用いる経糸及び緯糸は、多層テープの内
部に延伸テープが1枚設けられたものであるか
ら、該経糸と緯糸を用いて製造した織物シート
は、腰が弱く遮光用ネツト、土木用シート及び各
種補強剤などとして用いる場合に強度不足となる
という問題が生じている。また、織物を織る際や
織つた織物を保管しておく場合にシートの腰が弱
くシートが歪んだりして、生産性が低下するとい
つた問題があつた。
上記問題を解決するためには、経糸や緯糸を構
成する延伸テープや低融点の熱可塑性合成樹脂層
の厚みを厚くすることが考えられるが、この方法
では所望の強度が得られない。特に、厚い延伸テ
ープを製造すると、得られる延伸テープの厚みが
不均一になるという問題が生じてしまう。
〔発明が解決しようとする問題点〕
従つて、本発明は、腰が強くシート形状の保持
性が極めて優れた網状シートを提供することを目
的とする。
〔問題点を解決する手段〕
本発明は、網状シートを構成する経糸又は緯糸
としてポリオレフイン樹脂製の2枚の延伸テープ
の間及び外側に該ポリオレフイン樹脂よりも低融
点のポリオレフイン樹脂層を設けた構造の多層テ
ープを用いると上記問題点を有効に解決できると
の知見に基づいてなされたものである。
すなわち、本発明は、ポリオレフイン樹脂製の
2枚の延伸テープの間及び外側に該ポリオレフイ
ン樹脂よりも低融点のポリオレフイン樹脂層を設
けた構造の多層テープを経糸又は緯糸とし、残り
を前記多層テープ又はポリオレフイン樹脂製の1
枚の延伸テープの両側に該ポリオレフイン樹脂よ
りも低融点のポリオレフイン樹脂層を設けた構造
のテープとする網状織物シートの経糸と緯糸の交
点が熱融着されていることを特徴とする網状シー
トを提供する。
本発明において、経糸及び緯糸として用いる5
層構造の多層テープ及び3層構造の多層テープの
芯材を形成する延伸テープ及び該延伸テープより
も低融点のポリオレフイン樹脂層は、いずれもポ
リオレフイン樹脂、例えば、高密度ポリエチレ
ン、低密度ポリエチレン、中密度ポリエチレン、
ポリプロピレンなどによつて形成される。ここ
で、低融点のポリオレフイン樹脂層は、芯材の延
伸テープを形成するポリオレフイン樹脂よりも、
融点が15〜35℃、好ましくは、20〜30℃低い樹脂
で形成するのがよい。本発明においては、経糸と
緯糸の両方ともが、ポリオレフイン樹脂製の2枚
の延伸テープの間及び外側に該ポリオレフイン樹
脂よりも低融点のポリオレフイン樹脂層を設けた
構造の5層テープであるのが好ましい。又芯材を
高密度ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレンとし、低融
点の樹脂層を低密度ポリエチレンとするのが好ま
しい。
本発明においては、上記5層テープの2枚の延
伸テープが異なつた材質であつてもよいが、製造
上同じ材質とするのがよい。
尚、本発明において、芯材の延伸テープ及びそ
の外側に形成する低融点のポリオレフイン樹脂層
の厚みは任意とすることができるが、延伸テープ
及び低融点のポリオレフイン樹脂層の厚みをそれ
ぞれ15〜55μm、1〜5μm、好ましくは、20〜
45μm、2〜4μmとするのがよい。又複層テープ
の幅は任意とすることができるが、1〜4μmとす
るのが望ましい。
本発明で使用する3層構造の多層テープでは両
側に前記低融点のポリオレフイン樹脂層を接着さ
せることによつて形成させることができるが、2
台の押し出し機を用いた複合ダイス中で延伸テー
プとなるポリオレフイン樹脂の両側に低融点のポ
リオレフイン樹脂を融着させ、複合ダイスから押
し出して積層テープとした後、これを延伸して製
造するのが好ましい。又、本発明で使用する5層
構造の多層テープは、芯材の2枚の延伸テープの
間と外側に低融点のポリオレフイン樹脂層を接着
させることによつて形成させることができるが、
上記3層構造の多層テープを複合ダイスから押し
出して積層テープとした後、所定の幅にカツトし
これを2枚重ね低融点のポリオレフイン樹脂層を
加熱接着させ、次いでこれを延伸して製造するの
が好ましい。この際、押し出しをインフレーシヨ
ンで行つてカツトすると簡易に2枚重ねのものが
得られるので好ましい。
ここで、芯材の延伸倍率を4〜12倍、好ましく
は5〜8倍とするのがよい。尚、本発明におい
て、芯材の延伸テープ及びその外側に形成する低
融点のポリオレフイン樹脂層の厚みは任意とする
ことができるが、延伸テープ及び低融点のポリオ
レフイン樹脂層の厚みをそれぞれ15〜55μm、1
〜5μm、好ましくは、20〜45μm、2〜4μmとす
るのがよい、又5層テープ及び3層テープの厚み
をそれぞれ35〜130μm、17〜65μm、好ましくは、
60〜90μm、30〜45μmとするのがよい。なお、多
層テープの幅は任意とすることができるが1〜4
mmとするのがよい。
本発明の織物シートは、上記の多層テープを経
糸及び緯糸とし織機で織つた後、経糸と緯糸の交
差点を熱融着して製造される。ここで、熱融着は
低融点の熱可塑性合成樹脂が溶融するが延伸テー
プが溶融しない温度で行う。
本発明の織物シートは、上記の方法により、経
糸と緯糸との間にスペース、例えば0.002〜1.2
cm2、好ましくは0.02〜0.8cm2の正方形、直方形な
どのスペースを設けるのがよい。
本発明の織物シートには、織物シートの外側を
形成する低融点の熱可塑性合成樹脂層に無機充填
剤を含有させることができる。該無機充填剤とし
ては、酸化珪素、炭酸カルシウム、タルク、カオ
リンなどがあげられる。これらのうち、酸化珪
素、炭酸カルシウムが好ましく、特に好ましくは
酸化珪素であり、低融点のポリオレフイン樹脂層
中に0.1〜1重量%(以下、%と略称する。)、好
ましくは0.4〜0.6%含有させるのがよい。又、平
均粒径が1〜8μm好ましくは2〜5μmの無機充填
剤を用いるのがよい。
〔発明の効果〕
本発明によれば、腰が強くシート形状の保持性
が極めて優れた網状シートを提供することができ
る。又、本発明の網状シートは、経糸と緯糸との
交差点が接着されているので、使用に際して目崩
れしないという特性をも有している。
次に実施例により本発明を説明する。
〔実施例〕
実施例 1 第1図に本発明の網状シートの概略図を又第1
図のA−A断面図を示す。ここで、網状シート1
は、5層構造の経糸2及び緯糸3から織られてお
り、交点4で熱融着され経糸と緯糸との間にスペ
ース5が形成されている。経糸2及び緯糸3は、
同一材料で形成されており、該糸を構成する多層
テープ6の断面図を第3図に示すが、2枚の延伸
テープ7,7の間及び外側に延伸テープを構成す
るポリオレフイン樹脂よりも低融点のポリオレフ
イン樹脂層8,8,8が形成されている。
ここで延伸テープ7は、高密度ポリエチレン
(融点134、密度0.960)を7倍に延伸した厚み
35μm:幅2mmであり、低融点の熱可塑性合成樹
脂層8は、低密度ポリエチレン(融点134℃:密
度0.920の厚み2μm:幅2mmのテープである。
上記の多層テープは、次のようにして製造し
た。先づ、直径200mmのダイスに、高密度ポリエ
チレン用の押出機と、低密度ポリエチレン用の押
出機とを連結した。低密度ポリエチレンはダイス
中で2つに分岐され、高密度ポリエチレンの両側
に配置されて、ダイスから出てくる。これを冷却
して3層テープとした後、連続工程でスリツトし
て2枚重ね、次いで低融点の熱可塑性合成樹脂層
を加熱接着させ、これを延伸して製造した。
上記の多層テープを経糸及び緯糸とし織機で織
つた後、経糸と緯糸の交差点を107℃に加熱して
熱融着した。
実施例 2 経糸として高密度ポリエチレン(融点109℃、
密度0.960)延伸倍率7、厚み35μm、幅2mmの延
伸テープを芯材として用い、その両側に酸化珪素
を0.5重量%添加した低密度ポリエチレン(融点
109℃、密度0.920)延伸倍率7、厚み35μm、幅
2mmのテープを融着した3層構造の多層テープと
したほかは、実施例1と同様にして網状シートを
製造した。

第1図は本発明の網状シートの概略図、第2図
は第1図のA−A断面を示す図、第3図は網状シ
ートを構成する多層テープの断面図である。 図中、2…経糸、3…緯糸、7…延伸テープ、
8…低融点ポリオレフイン樹脂層である。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 1 ポリオレフイン樹脂製の2枚の延伸テープの
    間及び外側に該ポリオレフイン樹脂よりも低融点
    のポリオレフイン樹脂層を設けた構造の多層テー
    プを経糸又は緯糸とし、残りを前記多層テープ又
    はポリオレフイン樹脂製の1枚の延伸テープの両
    側に該ポリオレフイン樹脂よりも低融点のポリオ
    レフイン樹脂層を設けた構造のテープとする網状
    織物シートの経糸と緯糸の交点が熱融着されてい
    ることを特徴とする網状シート。 2 経糸と緯糸の両方ともが、ポリオレフイン樹
    脂製の2枚の延伸テープの間及び外側に該ポリオ
    レフイン樹脂よりも低融点のポリオレフイン樹脂
    層を設けた構造の多層テープである特許請求の範
    囲第1項記載の網状シート。
