Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain texture close to natural wood by laminating a sheet, in which a gloss-control ink layer and a delustering ink layer are formed onto the surface of a transparent plastic sheet, on a rear of which a woodgrain- pattern printed layer is formed, on a base material through a layer containing a glitter. CONSTITUTION:A woodgrain-pattern printed layer 5 is formed onto the rear of a transparent plastic sheet 6, and a gloss-control ink layer 7 covering the whole surface of the sheet 6 and a delustering ink layer 8 tuned with the duct section of the woodgrain-pattern printed layer 5 or not tuned with the duct section are formed successively onto the surface of the sheet 6. The whole is laminated onto a base material 1 through a layer 2 containing a glitter such as a pearl pigment. Or a pattern tuned with the woodgrain-pattern printed layer 5 is printed on the rear of the transparent plastic sheet 6 by gloss ink in addition to the woodgrain-pattern printed layer 5, and a transparent ink layer 3 is formed successively on a printed pattern layer 4 having glossiness different from the glossiness of the layer 2 containing the glitter or a color tone and the whole surface of the sheet 6, thus giving appearance closer to natural wood.

2. Description of the Related Art Decorative materials such as decorative sheets and veneers with a wood grain pattern, which are often used in the production of furniture, home appliances, building materials, etc. It is preferable to have a feeling of "depth" or "lightness" (the luster of wood grain, which is present in a complicated pattern and changes depending on the viewing angle). Therefore, various products have been trial-produced and provided, for example, one in which a lower pattern solid printing layer of an ink containing a so-called bright pigment and a conduit pattern printing layer thereon are overlapped to provide illumination. The conventional ones have a uniform luster and are simple, and the feeling of depth is not sufficient, so it cannot be said that they still fully express the texture of natural wood.

[0003] Therefore, the applicant of the present invention has a transparent plastic sheet provided with a printing layer expressing a wood grain pattern on the back surface thereof and is laminated on a base material through a layer containing a luster pigment to give a wood grain pattern makeup. A material was developed and already proposed (Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 2-295738). Although this decorative material has a luster close to that of natural wood, it still has a uniform luster,
It was more monotonous than natural wood, and there was room for improvement in depth.

The examples of the bright pigment are as follows. (A) What is called a pearl pigment, specifically, those obtained by crushing the inner part of a shell or pearls, or those obtained by baking mica, mica fine particles with TiO 2 or iron oxide,
(B) Metal powder, specifically copper, aluminum, brass, bronze, gold, silver, etc., preferably 1 to 120 μm fine particles; (c) Fragments of vapor deposited plastic film, such as polyethylene terephthalate film. These metals, usually aluminum, are vapor-deposited and crushed, or those that have been vapor-deposited and then coated with a transparent yellow color and crushed. Among them, what is called a pearl pigment is preferable because it can reproduce the luster of wood well.

The ink for printing a wood grain pattern is a black or brown color ink which is commonly used for printing a wood grain pattern.
It is preferable to use a semitransparent ink from the viewpoint of utilizing the luster provided by the bright pigment, but a dark color ink having a hiding property is suitable for printing the conduit portion. As shown in FIG. 2, the wood grain pattern printing layer (5) is made of an ink having a hiding property, for example, an ink containing a pigment having a high hiding property such as titanium oxide, in addition to the wood pattern printing layer (51). It is also possible to use a combination of the grain-like print layers (52) that represent the texture of the grain.

The matte ink layer is preferably formed in a pattern in synchronism with the wood grain-like conduit portion so that the matt portion looks like a recess, and the matte degree is more than that of the matte-adjusting ink. Use high-quality ink.
For matte ink, disperse the matte material in a vehicle similar to that for matte adjustment ink (usually increase the amount of matte material added), and further color carbon black, etc. to bring it closer to the color tone of the conduit of natural wood. An ink with a pigment added may be used.

In some cases, for example, when it is desired to express a so-called wood surface such as fibrous fine irregularities on the surface of the wood grain, it is not always necessary to form the matte ink layer in synchronization with the wood grain pattern. The addition of color pigments is also not essential.

As another embodiment of the wood grain pattern decorative material of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 2, on the back surface of the transparent plastic sheet (6), in addition to the wood grain pattern printing layer (5), the wood grain pattern printing layer ( The pattern synchronized with 5) is printed with a glittering ink, and the printed pattern layer (4) having a glossiness or color tone different from the glossiness of the glittering pigment-containing layer (2) and the entire surface of the sheet (6) There is also one in which a transparent ink layer (3) extending over is sequentially provided. This is a mode in which it is possible to give an appearance closer to that of natural wood compared to the basic mode in FIG. 1 and is encouraged.

The reason why the pattern printing layer of the glitter ink is provided in addition to the layer containing the glitter pigment is for expressing the complicated luster of natural wood. A transparent ink layer is provided between both layers. By giving the step, the laminate is given a depth and a three-dimensional effect, and its effect is enhanced. The glitter ink to be used for forming the pattern printing layer of the glitter ink of this embodiment may be one to which the above-mentioned glitter pigment is added, in which case,
When the gloss and / or the color tone (meaning lightness, saturation and hue) of the layer containing the glitter pigment and the glitter ink pattern printed layer are made different so that both layers can be visually distinguished, Good results are obtained. As the transparent ink, an appropriate material may be selected in consideration of the materials of the glitter ink layer and the layer containing the glitter pigment.

As the pattern to be printed with the glitter ink, a plate obtained by locally extracting a portion having a different gloss by photoengraving may be used, or an artificial pattern which is in synchronization with the grain pattern may be designed and used. Good. This pattern may overlap the grain pattern as shown in FIG. 2 or may be staggered.
In general, it is preferable to shift and synchronize them so that the luster of wood grain can be well expressed.

The decorative material of the present invention has a known structure in which a transparent plastic sheet having a wood pattern printed on the back surface is laminated on a substrate through a layer containing a bright pigment, By providing a gloss-adjusting ink layer and a matte ink layer on the, a calm and deep design was realized. This gives a texture similar to that of natural wood in combination with the pattern of the wood grain and the surface of the wood, which is represented by the layer containing the glittering pigment covering the entire surface of the substrate and the wood grain pattern printing layer thereabove, especially the shining thereof.

In particular, in the case where a glitter ink layer and a transparent ink layer are provided in addition to the above-mentioned structure, a portion having a gloss slightly different from that of the layer containing the glitter pigment is formed, and the depth is increased, resulting in natural wood. It better reproduces the complex and delicate texture and luster of.
