Further, a fluid resistance element 3 is provided on the nozzle 1 side of the pressure chamber 16, and a rectifier valve element 2 that opens only toward the nozzle side is provided on the ink supply port side.
A filter 8 is provided further to the ink supply port side of the rectifying element 2. By applying a voltage to the heating element 10, bubbles are generated in the pressure chamber 11, and ink is ejected from the nozzle 1 due to the pressure caused by the bubbles. Further, ink is replenished by the negative and positive values when the bubbles disappear.

The basic operation is the same as that of the conventional inkjet head shown in Fig. 3, and ink is ejected and replenished by driving the piezoelectric element 4. However, this drive alone results in insufficient ink replenishment in the high drive frequency range. By driving the piezoelectric element 5 and the piezoelectric element 4 at different timings, ink is forcibly supplied to the pressure chamber 6, and the shortage of ink supply is resolved.
