Abstract

PURPOSE:To present an oscillation proofing effect against use for a long term by supporting the gravity of a mechanism part by a cylindrical rubber in verti cally installing the device. CONSTITUTION:A head driving mechanism part 2 equipped with an optical head is sealed in a case 6 excepting for the case of inserting/ejecting the disk, and therefore, dust can be proofed. On the other hand, since rubbers 4 and 5 execute quinoid vulcanization or secondary vulcanization, no gas containing a sulfur component generates and therefore, the inside metal does not corrode. When vertically installing the device, the gravity of a loading mechanism 1 and a head driving mechanism part can be supported not only by the cylindrical part of the rubber 4 but also by that of the rubber 5 and therefore, the high oscillation proofing effect can be obtained.

An optical or magneto-optical disk recording and reproducing device is a device that records and reproduces high-density information on a disk, which is a recording medium, and is characterized by a large capacity and the ability to easily replace the recording medium. However, on the other hand, dust and air enter through minute gaps in the device and accumulate on the surface of the objective lens provided in the optical head. Therefore, the laser light reflected and condensed by the lens is cut off, causing reading errors.

Furthermore, in this device, the optical head reads the unevenness of several microns on the disk without contacting the disk, so when the driver of the optical head vibrates due to external vibration, for example, the light beam irradiated from the optical head records the unevenness. It may fall out of the groove and cause reading errors.

As a method for dealing with these phenomena, there is a method in which the disk insertion/ejection mechanism section and the mechanical unit for driving the optical head are supported by an elastic body or a viscoelastic body from the chassis section of the apparatus. As an example of this type of device, for example, Utility Model Application No. 63-18449
Publication No. 4 etc. can be mentioned.

The problem with the above conventional technology is that when the user places the device vertically depending on the installation location, shearing force is applied to the viscoelastic body that supports the mechanical unit, and when used for a long period of time, the vibration-proofing effect of the viscoelastic body is lost. .

In order to achieve the above objective, the optical head movement, transport mechanism section, disk motor, and mechanism for inserting and ejecting the disk (hereinafter collectively referred to as the mechanism section) were constructed using quinoid-cured rubber. The device is equipped with a cylindrical rubber supported by a spring and subjected to quinoid vulcanization, so that when the device is placed vertically, the gravitational force of the mechanism is supported by the cylindrical rubber.
