Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce sound radiation toward the outside of a body by shielding part of noise generated with the rotation of blades and of noise generated with a spiral casing by providing a venting hole communicated with an air flow passage space part and a blinding part for blinding an exhaust fan at a lower surface opening part in a box-shaped body opened over its lower surface and including a discharge port in its one side. CONSTITUTION:With an impeller 21 rotated, sucked air flows into a body 20 from a venting hole 2, and enters through suction inlets 23, 24 of the suction casings 25, 26 through which it is raised in pressure and passes through the inside (d) of the spiral casing 22 and discharged from a discharge port 29. Thereupon, there are radiated rotational noise produced as the air is raised in pressure through the impeller 21 and turbulent noise due to voltex produced upon the same passing through the spiral casing 22 such that those noises are spread from the suction side spaces (a), (b) toward the outside (e) of the body 20, but there is provided a blinding panel 3 at a corresponding part of the exhaust fan and hence part of the noises is shielded to permit sound radiation to the external space C to be reduced.

With the above configuration, when the impeller 21 rotates during operation,
Air is sucked in through the suction ports 23 and 24, raised in pressure by the impeller 21, passed through the interior d of the spiral casing 22, and discharged from the discharge port 29. The air sucked through the suction ports 23 and 24 has rotational noise generated when the pressure is increased by the impeller 21 and turbulence noise generated by the basin when passing through the spiral casing 22. It was radiated to external space C via suction side spaces a and b.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention During operation, such conventional ceiling-embedded ventilation fans produce rotational noise that occurs when the pressure of the sucked air increases due to the rotation of the impeller, and noise that occurs when the air passes through the volute casing. There was a problem in that turbulent noise caused by the vortex was radiated to C through the suction side spaces a and b of the suction port.

Embodiment A first embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 1 to 3. Note that the same parts as in the conventional example are given the same numbers and detailed explanations are omitted. As shown in the figure, 2
0 is a main body with an open bottom surface, and inside this main body 20 are a spiral casing 22 surrounding an impeller 21 and suction casings 25 and 2 having suction ports 23 and 24 on both surfaces.
6 and an electric motor 27 that is attached to this suction casing 25 or 26 and has an impeller 21 fixed thereto. A ventilation hole 2 that communicates with the exhaust air blower is provided with a cover panel 3 that hides a corresponding portion of the exhaust blower. FIG. 3 also shows suction ports 23 and 2 on the upper and lower surfaces.
4, the configuration is the same as in FIGS. 1 and 2.

With the above configuration, when the impeller 21 rotates, the suction air flows into the interior of the main body 20 from the vent 2 and the suction ports 23 and 24 of the suction casings 25 and 26.
It enters the impeller 21 and is boosted by this impeller 21.
It passes through the interior d of the spiral casing 22 and is discharged from the discharge port 29. At this time, rotation noise generated when the pressure is increased by the impeller 21 and turbulent noise due to the vortex generated when passing through the spiral caning 22 are transmitted from the suction ports 23 and 24 through the suction side spaces a and b to the main body 20. The noise is radiated to the outside e, but since there is a blind panel 3 in the corresponding part of the exhaust blower, part of the noise is insulated and the radiation to the outside space C is reduced. Further, even when the suction port is provided in an oblique direction other than the side direction and the vertical direction, or when the suction port is provided only on one side, the radiation of noise into the external space C is similarly reduced.

With the above configuration, suction air flows into the main body 20 from the vent 2 due to the rotation of the impeller 21, but due to the arc-shaped bent portion 5 provided in the blind panel 4, the pressure loss is smaller than when there is no curvature. (Since the area of the vent 2 can be made smaller than in the first embodiment, it is possible to achieve further sound insulation than in the first embodiment.

Next, a third embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIG. Note that the same parts as in the first embodiment are given the same numbers and detailed explanations are omitted. The main body 20 as shown in the figure
An extended blind part 7 is provided extending into the interior of the main body 20 from the end on the blind part side of the vent 2 of the blind panel 6 provided at the lower opening of the main body 20.

With the above configuration, the rotational noise generated by the rotation of the impeller 21 and the turbulent noise caused by the vortex generated when air passes through the spiral casing 22 spread from the vent 2 to the outside e of the main body 20, but from the blind panel 6 to the main body. A part of the noise is insulated by the extended blind part 7 extending into the interior of the housing 20.

Next, a fourth embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 6 and 7. Note that the same parts as in the first embodiment are given the same numbers and detailed explanations are omitted. First, as shown in FIG. 6, a sound absorbing material A8 is pasted around the inner side wall portion 9 of the main body 20 that forms the air passage space 1 provided inside the main body 20. In addition, as shown in FIG. 7, the main body 20
A sound absorbing material A8 and a sound absorbing material Bll are pasted on the inner side wall portion 9 and the ceiling inner wall portion 10, respectively.

With the above configuration, the rotational noise generated by the rotation of the impeller 21 and the turbulent noise caused by the vortex generated when air passes through the spiral casing 22 spread from the vent 2 to the outside e of the main body 20 in FIG. The sound-absorbing material A8 pasted on the inner wall 9 of the main body 2 in FIG.
The noise from the external space C outside the main body 20 is reduced by being absorbed by the sound absorbing material A8 and the sound absorbing material Bll which are pasted around the inner side wall portion 9 and the ceiling inner wall portion 10 of the main body 20.
