【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 車両の運転席側に表示面を向けた自発光型
の表示器と、該表示器と運転席側の視点とを結ぶ
光路に対して反射面を略平行にして該反射面を該
表示器の表示面に向けた反射部材と、上記表示器
と上記反射部材との間で該反射部材および前記視
点に対して反射面を斜めに向けて配された光学装
置とを備え、 上記光学装置は、前記表示器と前記視点とを結
ぶ光路と交差する第１領域と、上記表示器と前記
反射部材とを結ぶ光路と交差する第２領域とが、
透光状態および遮光状態とに互いに逆の状態に選
択的に切換えられるものであることを特徴とする
車両用表示装置。 (2) 前記光学装置は、偏光板と液晶の施光性を
利用した液晶シヤツタにより前記第１領域および
