Abstract

PURPOSE:To make automatic check on any emergency of a pressure regulator by composing an emergency detecting device of a pressure detecting means for gas pressure in a gas supply unit, a pressure changing speed detecting means, a decision means which decides any emergency of a gas supply unit by signal and a output means. CONSTITUTION:This unit is composed of a LP gas bomb 1, a cylinder stopcock 2, a pressure regulator 3, a gas meter 4, a gas appliance 5, a pressure sensor 8, serving as a pressure detecting means, a comparator 9, a pressure changing speed detecting means 10 which detects changing speed of pressure, a decision means 11 and a output means 12. When a temperature of gas in a gas supply unit rises, gas pressure rises at the same time. A signal from the pressure sensor 8 is inputted into the comparator 9. The signal is inputted also into the pressure changing speed detecting means 10, output power is generated, when pressure changing speed rises have a certain value. When output power is generated in the comparator 9 and the pressure changing speed detecting means 10, the decision means 11 sends a signal to the output means 12. The output means 12 lights LED so as to announce emergency. Consequently, any emergency of the pressure regulator can be detected.
