保持する液圧保持手段と、 アクセルペダルの状態を検知するアクセルペダ
ル検知手段と、 車両の速度を検知する速度検知手段と、 前方を走行する車両との車間距離を測定する車
間検知手段と、 前記各検知手段からの情報に基づいて前記液圧
保持手段の作動を制御する制御手段とを備えてお
り、 前記制御手段は、少なくとも前記速度検知手段
に通じて車両が停止したことを検知した場合に、
前記液圧保持手段を作動させてホイルシリンダ内
のブレーキ液圧を保持し車両の停止状態を維持す
るとともに、 前記アクセルペダル検知手段を通じてアクセル
ペダルが踏まれたことを検知した場合、または前
記車間検知手段を通じて前方の車両との車間距離
が一定以上となつたことを検知した場合に前記液
圧手段を解除することを特徴とする渋滞時の車両
