Abstract

PURPOSE:To allow visual observation of thawing status from outside a refrigerator, diminish uneven thawing, and finish thawing within a short time period by a method wherein a reflection plate is provided with a hole which communicates a lighting and the inside of a thawing compartment, a shield plate which is made by cutting straight and raising a dome part located between the lighting and a far infrared ray heater, and a number of air blow holes in it. CONSTITUTION:During thawing operation, the temperature inside a thawing compartment 15 is gradually raised by the heating actions of a far infrared ray heater 34 and a heater, and cold air flowing into a duct 50 is blown downward through a number of air blow holes 39a provided in a reflection plate 39 and a hole 39b having an opening area equal to or larger than the size of a lighting 40 to cool uniformly the surface of food 45 to be thawed. A shield plate 39c is formed by cutting straight and raising a dome part between the lighting 40 and the far infrared ray heater 34 to prevent the lighting 40 from being deformed by heat. The thawing compartment 15 is located inside a low temperature room 14 and kept within a partial freezing temperature rang of about -3 deg.C suitable for preserving uncooked food even when the food is left in the thawing compartment after thawing operation is completed. In addition, the lighting is lit in the thawing compartment 15 for a certain time period so that the food can be seen through a window 57 on a door 60 of the low temperature compartment 14.

In this configuration, when the food 7 to be thawed is placed on the bottom of the thawing box 1 and the thawing action is started, heat is applied from the entire circumference of the inner box 3 by the heating of the heater 4, and the food to be thawed is almost uniformly heated. 7 is heated and thawed.

Problem to be Solved by the Invention However, with such a configuration, heat is transmitted from the bottom of the thawing box 1 to the bottom of the food to be thawed 7 by thermal conduction. The effect of radiant heat on the food to be thawed 7 from the top and side surfaces of the food 1 is almost ineffective because the heat ray wavelength from the heater 4 through the inner box 3 is in the near-infrared region of 5 μm or less. Heating takes place only by convective heat transfer of the warmed air inside the box 1. For this reason, there are problems in that the thawing unevenness between the center and surface of the food to be thawed 7 is large, making it easy to thaw, and it takes a long time to defrost. Perishable foods undergo deterioration due to high ambient temperatures, so the user must monitor the completion of defrosting, and the refrigerator door must be opened to visually check the progress of defrosting, which is inconvenient to use. There was a problem.

Effect of the present invention With the above-described configuration, the far-infrared rays are directly radiated by the far-infrared heater and indirectly radiated through the reflector from the top and side surfaces of the food to be thawed, and conductive heating is performed from the bottom heater. heat is absorbed. At the same time, during thawing, cold air is uniformly supplied to the food to be thawed through the numerous ventilation holes formed on the top surface of the reflector, thereby suppressing the temperature rise on the surface of the food. Furthermore, after thawing is completed, the temperature control action of the damper and thermostat automatically brings the food temperature to the same temperature as the cold room where the thawing chamber is installed, that is, to the third temperature zone between the freezing temperature and the refrigeration temperature. It is maintained and kept cold. Further, the degree of defrosting can be visually checked from outside the refrigerator by lighting up the front part of the defrosting chamber by lighting up a lighting device through window bodies installed at opposing positions in the front of the defrosting chamber.

In this configuration, when the temperature of the freezer compartment 13 is higher than a predetermined value, the resistance value of the temperature detector 29 becomes small and the output of the comparator 67 becomes "H", so the transistor 68 turns ONL, and the relay coil 69 conducts.

Next, we will discuss the action during thawing. First, the food to be thawed 46 to be thawed is placed on the thawing tray 44 and placed in the thawing chamber 1.
The defrost switch 63 is installed on the bottom plate 41 inside the 6
Insert. At the same time as the power is turned on, the timer 79 starts outputting the rHJ signal, turning on the transistor 81 and relay coil)
v82 becomes conductive and relay contact 66' closes. And far infrared heat 34. Electricity is started to be applied to the heater 42 on the bottom, and radiant heat from the far infrared heater 34 is applied evenly to the food to be thawed 46 from the top, coupled with the reflection action of the reflector 39, and from the bottom, the food is radiated evenly by the heater 42. Conduction heating takes place at the same time. Here, in heating by the far infrared heater 34, far infrared rays with a long wavelength of 6 μm or more are radiated to the food to be thawed 46, so that it is effective for general foods that have an absorption range in the far infrared wavelength range. The far infrared rays are absorbed and penetrate relatively deep into the food to be thawed 46, so that thawing proceeds without increasing temperature unevenness between the surface and the center. Furthermore, in heating by the heater 42, the bottom surface of the food 46 to be thawed, which cannot be sufficiently heated by the far-infrared heater 34, can be thawed by thermal conduction heating via the thawing plate 44.

On the other hand, these far infrared heaters 34. Simultaneously with the heating effect of the heater 42, during defrosting, that is, while the output of the timer 79 continues to generate rHJ, the output of the OR circuit 8o also reaches rHJ.
Therefore, the transistor 83 turns on, and the relay coil 8
4 becomes conductive and the relay contact 63 is closed. Therefore, regardless of the output of the freezer compartment temperature control device 66, the blower 18
is forced to operate. During thawing, the temperature inside the thawing chamber 16 is controlled by the far infrared heater 34. Since the temperature gradually rises due to the heating action of the heater 42, the temperature detected by the temperature detector 31 provided in the thawing chamber 16 also rises, and the output of the comparator 75 of the thawing chamber temperature control device 74 becomes rHJ.

Then, the damper 24 is opened, and the cold air forcedly blown by the blower 18 flows through the discharge duct 26 from the discharge port 51 into the ventilation passage 60 in the upper part of the thawing chamber 16. ventilation duct 6o
The cold air flowing into the interior is passed through a large number of ventilation holes 39a formed in the reflection plate 39 and holes 3s that are opened to a size equal to or larger than that of the lighting device 4o.
It is discharged downward from b and uniformly cools the surface of the food 45 to be thawed. As a result of this action, the food to be thawed 46 progresses in a manner relatively close to internal heating mainly due to the far-infrared radiation effect of the far-infrared heater 34, while the temperature rise at the surface is suppressed. It is possible to achieve thawing with a small temperature difference and less uneven thawing. In addition, due to the internal penetration effect of far infrared rays, it is possible to defrost in a shorter time than with conventional heaters.
9 is exposed in the ventilation path 5o, the temperature of the reflecting plate 39 itself and surrounding members such as the lighting device 40, which are originally quite high temperature, is cooled and lowered, which is convenient from a safety standpoint.

Further, since the dome portion between the lighting device 40 and the far-infrared heater 34 is cut and raised in a straight line to provide the shielding plate 39c, there is no thermal deformation of the lighting device 4o. In addition, thawing chamber 16
After cooling, the cold air that has flowed into the cooler is collected into the cooler 17 through the suction duct 28 from the suction port 62 opened at the rear surface.

At the same time, one input of the OR circuit 80 becomes rLJ, so the forced air blowing state of the blower 18 is released. After thawing is completed, the temperature inside the thawing chamber 15 is controlled based on the temperature detected by the temperature sensor 31, as in the case of normal cooling. Therefore, the food to be thawed 45 after thawing is immediately cooled to stabilize in the partial free range temperature range of about -3° C., and the temperature does not rise further due to residual heat. Even if you leave it as it is after thawing, it is kept cool in the partial free range temperature range of approximately -3℃, which is suitable for preserving bundles of fish, meat, etc., so the user can monitor the completion of thawing as usual. The food 46 can be safely thawed without having to be immediately processed, and the food 46 to be thawed can be used at any time after thawing, making it extremely convenient to use. In addition, the thawing chamber 16 is installed in the cold room 14, and both compartments are normally maintained in the virtual free range temperature range of about -31S, so the temperature inside the thawing chamber 16 is controlled from the cold room 14. It is not affected by heat and is accurate. In addition, thawing chamber 15
Inside, the lighting device is turned on for a certain period of time by turning on the lighting switch 53', so that the inside can be viewed from outside the refrigerator through the window 57 of the cold room door 6o.

Further, since the lighting device 4o is installed in the front part of the outer box 32 and has a hole 3sb opened to the same size or larger than that of the lighting device 40, the inside front part of the thawing chamber 16 is brightly illuminated, and the food to be thawed in the thawing chamber 15 is brightly illuminated. The thawing status of 45 can be clearly seen.

During thawing, a forced air blower is operated continuously to allow cold air to descend and flow into the food to be thawed through the ventilation path formed in the space on the back of the reflector, so that the surface of the food to be thawed is evenly cooled. Furthermore, temperature rise is suppressed and thawing with less unevenness can be achieved.

(3) During thawing, the reflector and other peripheral components, such as the lighting device, which would otherwise be at a high temperature, are exposed to the ventilation path and cooled, so the temperature decreases, which is advantageous for safety. Further, since the dome portion between the lighting device and the far-infrared heater is cut and raised in a straight line to provide a shielding plate, there is no thermal deformation of the lighting device.

(4) After thawing, the inside of the thawing chamber is kept cool in the third temperature range between the freezing room temperature and the refrigerator room temperature (e.g., the nominal temperature range during partial freezing of approximately -3°C), so immediately after thawing is completed, The temperature of the food to be thawed does not further rise due to the residual heat of the food, and even if it is left as is, its freshness is maintained at a temperature suitable for raw food such as fish meat, and the food can be used at any time.

(6) Since a lighting device is installed in front of the thawing chamber and there is a window in front of the thawing chamber, the progress of thawing can be visually checked from outside the cold room without opening the door. In addition, the lighting device is installed near the front transparent door of the thawing chamber, and the reflecting plate has a hole that is equal to or larger than the lighting device that communicates the lighting device with the inside of the thawing chamber, so the front part of the thawing chamber is brightly illuminated. The thawing status of the food to be thawed and stored in the thawing chamber can be clearly seen. The lighting device turns off after being turned on for a certain period of time, so you can prevent the impact on thawing caused by forgetting to turn off the lighting device.
An air layer is formed in the window body, and a heat-reflecting film prevents heat rays from entering, ensuring sufficient insulation.
