As a conventional underground power transmission and distribution cable connection section,
There is one shown in the figure. This cable connection part connects the switch side receiving part 1 and the end conductor 3 of the cable 2 to the compression terminal 4.
It is made up of an internal semiconducting layer 5, a stress cone 6, an insulating cylinder 7 having an external shielding layer 9 on its outer periphery, and the like. The outer shielding layer 9 is interrupted in the middle, and the electrodetecting layer 8 is formed at that portion. The voltage detection layer 8 is a short circuit piece 12
When electrically connected to the external shielding layer 9 by the short-circuiting piece 12, it functions as an external shielding layer, and when the shorting piece 12 is removed, a potential corresponding to the state of the cable line 2 is maintained. The insulating tube 7 is fastened with hose bands 10, 11, and the outer shielding layer 9 is connected to the outer conductive layer of the cable line 2.

Figure 2 shows a part of the high voltage cabinet having the above-mentioned underground power transmission/distribution cable connection part, and the connection part of the switch 30 (30a, 30b also shows the switch) and the cable 2 is equipped with the above-mentioned inspection. In addition to the electric layer 8 (not shown), a voltage detection capacitor C 1 ,
C 2 , a current direction detection section 31 , a zero-sequence current detection section 32 , and a fault direction detection section 33 are provided.

In the above configuration, the fault direction detection section 33 detects the zero-sequence voltage component by inputting the divided voltage values based on the voltage detection capacitors C 1 and C 2 from each phase, and detects the zero-sequence voltage component and the input from the zero-sequence current detection section 32. Based on the phase lead/lag of the zero-sequence current and the zero-sequence voltage, it is determined whether the fault point is on the power supply side or on the load side. Therefore, by specifying the power supply side and the load side from the detection signal of the current direction detection section 31, the direction of the accident can be determined.

However, in the case of conventional cable connections equipped with such a fault point determination section, wiring between them is required because a high voltage capacitor or high voltage transformer is used for voltage detection. Since the voltage detection section is provided separately, the overall configuration becomes complicated, which limits the improvement in reliability and causes high costs.

In the above configuration, when the voltage detection terminal cover cap 20 is fitted to the voltage detection cover main body 13, one end 2 of the conductive member 22 of the voltage detection terminal cover cap 20
3 is inserted into the guide hole 14, and the conductive EP rubber 23
