Abstract

PURPOSE:To bring a switch into a positive action although only a magnet is used, by a method wherein the magnet is placed in a storage compartment main body and is movable between a position near a lead switch and a position apart from it. CONSTITUTION:When a door 4 of a storage compartment 1 is in open state, a magnet 14 falls down to a position P2 near a lead switch 10 by self-weight and its magnetic force causes the lead switch 10 to be kept in ON state. When the door 4 is closed, the magnet 14 is attracted by a magnetic plate 15 and held at a position P1 apart from the lead switch 10, so that the magnetic force applied to the lead switch 10 is decreased and the lead switch 10 is turned off. Moreover, as the magnet 14 is placed in the storage compartment 1 together with the lead switch 10, a stronger magnetic force can be applied to the lead switch 10 when the magnet 14 is moved to the position P2 near the lead switch 10.
