Images recorded on microfilm are stable and
Can be used as permanent image memory. When viewing and observing microfilmed information, a request often arises to write notes on information related to the information, but since it is microfilm, it is extremely difficult to make corrections. If this were to be done, a part of the image would be deleted by scanning a tiny spot with high energy, such as a tiny needle tip or a laser beam. However, all of these methods damage the microfilm. It is not possible to make partial modifications without causing damage. Therefore, by sharing,
This method has a major drawback in that information that must be stored permanently can be personally modified.

れる。 FIG. 2 is a detailed perspective view of the main parts of the apparatus shown in FIG. 1. The light emitted from the light source 1 is passed through a condensing lens 20,
The image on the film F is illuminated through a mirror 21 and a condenser lens 22. When the switching mirror 3 is in the position indicated by the chain line, the image of the film F is formed by the projection lens 2 and the mirrors 23 and 24 on the light-receiving surface movement locus of the image reading sensor 5 through the chain line optical path a. The imaging light is read by a line scanning type image reading sensor 5 that moves in the direction of the arrow Y, and is converted into an image electrical signal. When the switching mirror 3 is at the position indicated by the solid line, the light passes through the solid line indicator path b and is projected onto the screen 8 by the lens 2, mirrors 23, 3, adapter lens 6, and mirrors 25, 26. A movable transparent film 10 is placed in close contact with the front surface of the screen 8. Pen 2 on transparent film 10
It is possible to write an image using 8. The transparent film 10 is conveyed while being held between a capstan roller 29a and a pinch roller 29b, and is movable in the direction of arrow X. The image written on the transparent film 10 is illuminated by a rod-shaped light source 30, read by a line scanning type reading sensor 12, and converted into an image electrical signal.

In such an image processing apparatus, when it is desired to make additions to the image on the microfilm F, the image B is projected onto the screen 8 with the mirror 3 set to the solid line position. While observing the projected image B through the transparent film 10, an additional and corrected image A is written on the transparent film 10 with a pen 28 so as to be combined with the photographed image B on the screen. Next, the transparent film 10 is driven by the roller pair 29a, 29b, the image A is sequentially read by the sensor 12, the signal is processed by the signal processing circuit 13A, and is input to the buffer memory 14a, and at the same time, the optical path switching mirror 3 is moved to the position indicated by the chain line. Then, the projected images B along the optical path a are sequentially read by the sensor 5, subjected to signal processing by the signal processing circuit 13b, and input to the buffer memory 14b. Both buffer memories 14a and 1
The image signal accumulated in 4b is input to the OR circuit 16 for synchronization by the synchronization signal generation circuit 19. A logical sum circuit 16 synchronizes both signals and performs a logical sum to generate a composite image signal. This composite image signal is input to a copy processing circuit of a digital copying machine, such as a laser beam printer, to obtain a hard copy. The composite image signal can also be stored in the memory circuit 18. You can also send it.

ある。 It should be noted that one of the buffer memories 14a and 14b can be omitted if the reading start and speed conditions of the two reading systems are substantially synchronized. For example, it is possible to read and synthesize the information accumulated in the buffer memory 14a in synchronization with the main scanning signal of the reading sensor 5.
