(Prior art) In liquid storage tanks, especially underground tanks that store hazardous materials such as gasoline, even if there is a leak in the tank, it is extremely difficult or impossible to detect it at the beginning, and in most cases, it is discovered only after the leak has spread. It has become a pollution problem.

In order to eliminate these drawbacks, it is conventional to use a fiberscope to visually observe the rust, sludge, presence or absence of water, and other conditions on the tank's inner wall, take photographs, and then measure the tank's thickness using an ultrasonic thickness gauge. It is being done.

However, when measuring tank plate thickness, the surface of the plate usually has minute irregularities of about 2 mm in diameter, and the thickness is uneven depending on the location, and it is estimated that rust and sludge are present. For some reason, accurate measurements could not be taken, and therefore the measured values were unreliable.

Rust and sludge can be removed by sucking it up with a pump, but rust and sludge that are stuck to the board cannot be removed just by sucking it up with a pump, and can be removed by scraping with a rotating wire brush, etc. This method not only cannot be used accurately due to the unevenness of the plate, but also makes the inside of the tank cloudy, making it impossible to observe with a fiberscope.

(Structure of the Invention) The device for removing deposits on the inner wall of a liquid storage tank of the present invention includes a cylindrical body having a suction opening connected to a rotating and moving mechanism, and a cylindrical body slidably inserted in the axial direction. It is characterized by comprising a large number of pins and a mechanism that elastically restrains the tips of the pins from always protruding from the end surface of the cylindrical body.

(発明の実施例) 以下図面によつて本発明の実施例を説明する。(Example of the invention) Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.

In the present invention, as shown in FIG. 1 and FIG.
A rotary suction hose 4 connected to a suction device and a rotating device (none of which are shown) is connected to the center opening 1 of the cylindrical body 2 with a height of about 50 mm, and the rotary suction hose 4 is connected to the outer periphery of the cylindrical body 2 in the axial direction. A plurality of holes 5, for example 20, extending into
are arranged concentrically, and a large number of pins 6 with sharp tips, each having a diameter of about 2 mm and a length of about 40 mm, for example, are slidably inserted into the hole 5. A compression spring is inserted between the collar 7 and the base of the hole 5 to restrain the pin 6 so that the tip of the pin 6 always projects outward from the end surface of the cylindrical body 2 by, for example, about 15 mm.

Since the apparatus for removing deposits on the inner wall of a liquid storage tank of the present invention has the above-described configuration, when rotation is transmitted to the cylindrical body 2 through the rotary suction hose 4, the pin 6 rotates together with the cylindrical body 2, and this If the tip of the pin 6 is moved through the hose 4 while being pressed against the inner wall of the tank, rust and sludge on the inner wall of the tank can be easily removed by the tip of the pin 6, and the removed rust, Since the sludge is immediately transported to the outside through the opening 1 of the cylindrical body 2 and the rotating suction hose 4, the inside of the tank does not become cloudy, and the pin 6 is moved relative to the cylindrical body 2 according to the unevenness of the inner wall of the tank. Since it moves back and forth against the compression spring 8, it is possible to reliably remove rust and sludge from the entire inner wall of the tank.

In the device of the present invention, a tube for transmitting rotational movement is separately provided on the outer periphery of the rotary suction hose 4, and this tube is fixed to the outer periphery of the cylindrical body 2.
Movement may also be transmitted.

(Effects of the Invention) As described above, the apparatus of the present invention has the great advantage of being able to remove deposits in a liquid storage tank extremely easily and reliably, regardless of the unevenness of the tank inner wall.
