<Prior Art> Conventionally, as shown in FIG. 9, a wrapping device for this type of packaging machine has a pair of folding guides 56 and 57 that are movable in and out in a direction perpendicular to the direction of transport of contents. Then, by transferring the content a from the upstream end of the transfer path 51 with the pusher 52, the leading end surface a1 of the content a in the advancing direction abuts against the wrapping paper b, and the preceding content is rolled up in a U-shape. a' and stop the rear end surface a2 of the content a in the advancing direction on the same plane as the protruding positions of the folding guides 56 and 57, and then the folding guides 56 and 57 respectively protrude and the content Thing a
Both ends b1 and b2 of the wrapping paper protruding upstream from the rear end surface a2 are folded and overlapped along the rear end surface a2, and the wrapped contents a are opened as the subsequent contents a are transferred. In some cases, the overhanging end of the wrapping paper, which protrudes from the side surface in a rectangular tube shape, is sequentially edge-folded along the open side surface by edge-folding guides 53, 54, and 55.

Furthermore, as disclosed in Japanese Patent Publication No. 61-39251, for example, a plurality of pockets into which the contents are inserted through the wrapping paper are provided at equal intervals on the downstream side of the wrapping paper supply path in the direction in which the contents are transferred. The turrets arranged in a radial manner are rotatably disposed, and one folding guide is disposed between the wrapping paper supply path and the turrets so as to be movable in and out in a direction perpendicular to the direction of transport of the contents. The other folding guide is fixedly arranged around the package, and the tip of the transferred contents is pressed against the wrapping paper, and then both are pushed into the stationary pocket to wrap around the body in a U-shape, and at the same time, the contents are The leading end is positioned against the bottom of the pocket, and then one folding guide protrudes and one end of the wrapping paper protruding upstream from the rear end of the contents is folded along the rear end, and then the turret is As the wrapping paper rotates, the other end of the wrapping paper protruding from the rear end surface of the contents hits the other folding guide, and the wrapping paper is folded along the rear end surface and overlapped.

<Problem to be solved by the invention> However, in the case of the former case, the body wrapping device of such a conventional packaging machine does not fold the transferred contents against the preceding contents and fold the rear end surface of the contents on both sides. In order to position the protruding position of the guide, when the transferred content hits the preceding content, the preceding content moves downstream due to its inertia, and the rear end surface of the transferred content folds in both sides. When the guide shifts downstream from the protruding position and stops, or when the transported contents collide with the preceding contents, the preceding contents are compressed and deformed, causing the compression of these preceding contents. When the deformation is elastically restored, the rear end surface of the transported contents shifts upstream from the protruding positions of both folding guides and stops.

When the rear end of the contents transferred in this way deviates downstream or upstream from the protruding positions of both folding guides and stops, both ends of the wrapping paper are folded away from the rear end of the contents. Otherwise, both folding guides may pinch the rear end of the contents, making it impossible to reliably fold both ends of the wrapping paper along the rear edge of the contents, resulting in the problem of not being able to wrap the wrapping paper tightly around the body. be.

In the latter case, although the above-mentioned problem does not occur, the turret is provided with multiple pockets into which the contents fit, making the turret very large and complicated in structure, making the entire device large. There is a problem that not only is the cost increasing, but also the cost is increasing.

<Means for Solving the Problems> The technical means taken by the present invention to solve the above problems is to arrange a pair of folding guides so as to be movable in and out in a direction perpendicular to the direction in which the contents are transported. A semi-rotating turret is installed downstream of the guide in the transport direction so that it can rotate intermittently by 180 degrees.
A through hole through which the wrapping paper and contents enter and exit the semi-turning turret is provided in line with the transfer path, and by inserting the wrapping paper and contents from either opening of the through hole, it forms a U-shape. In addition to wrapping the body and maintaining the body-wrapped state, a stopper block is disposed within the through hole so as to be able to reciprocate over a predetermined section between both openings, and the moving length of the stopper block is determined in the direction of transfer of the contents. The distance from the stopper block to both folding guides when moved to the most downstream side is set to be approximately the same as the dimension in the transport direction of the contents.

<Operation> According to the above-mentioned technical means, the present invention allows the transferred contents to enter the through hole from one opening of the semi-rotating turret that stops both of them after the forward end surface of the transferred contents hits the wrapping paper. By inserting the contents, the leading end of the contents hits the stopper block and moves downstream, and at the same time, the wrapping paper is wrapped around the body in a U-shape, and this stopper block moves to the most downstream side and the contents are moved downstream. After the object has stopped moving,
Both ends of the wrapping paper are folded along the rear end surface of the contents by protruding a pair of folding guides, and then the semi-turning turret is rotated 180 degrees, and the subsequent contents that have butted against the wrapping paper are folded into the other side. By inserting the content into the through-hole through the opening, the leading end of the following content hits the stopper block and moves downstream, and at the same time, the content whose body has been wrapped is moved downstream from the through-hole. It is pushed to the side.

After the forward end of the transferred contents hits the wrapping paper, both of them are inserted into the through hole through one opening of the stopped half-turn turret, so that the forward end of the contents hits the stopper block. At the same time, the wrapping paper is wrapped around the body in a U-shape, and after this stopper block moves to the furthest downstream side and the movement of the contents stops, a pair of folding guides are moved to the downstream side. Both ends of the wrapping paper are made to protrude and folded in along the rear edge of the contents, and then the semi-turning turret is rotated 180 degrees, and the following contents that are in contact with the wrapping paper are inserted into the through hole from the other opening. By fitting into the through hole, the leading end of the following contents hits the stopper block and is moved downstream, and at the same time, the contents that have been wrapped around the body are pushed out downstream from within this through hole. By sequentially abutting the transferred contents against one stopper, the rear end surface of the contents and the protruding positions of both folding guides can be accurately positioned.

Therefore, compared to the conventional method in which the transferred content is butted against the preceding content to position the rear end face of the content and the protruding position of both folding guides, the rear end face of the transferred content is positioned against the protruding position of both folding guides. Both ends of the wrapping paper can be reliably folded along the rear edge of the contents without shifting to the downstream or upstream side of the position, and as a result, the wrapping paper can be wrapped tightly around the body and the contents can be folded. Compared to the conventional system in which the turret is provided with a plurality of pockets into which the turrets are inserted, the half-turn turret is smaller and has a simpler structure, making it possible to downsize the entire device and reduce costs.

A wrapping paper supply path is arranged perpendicular to the transfer path for transporting the box-shaped contents, and the tip of the contents transferred along this transfer path in the traveling direction is brought into contact with the supplied wrapping paper. A pair of folding guides are placed on the downstream side of the wrapping paper supply path in the direction of transport of the contents, while wrapping the wrapping paper in the shape of a . In a body wrapping device of a folding packaging machine, the pair of folding guides are arranged so as to be movable in and out in a direction perpendicular to the direction of transport of the contents, and a semi-turning turret is arranged intermittently at 180 degrees downstream from these folding guides in the direction of transport. A through hole through which the wrapping paper and contents enter and exit the semi-turning turret is provided in line with the transfer path, and the wrapping paper and contents are transferred from either opening of the through hole. By inserting the object, the body is wrapped in a U-shape and the body is held in a U-shaped state, and a stopper block is disposed within the through hole so as to be able to reciprocate over a predetermined section between both openings. The length of movement was set to be approximately the same as the dimension of the contents in the direction of transfer, and the distance from the stopper block to both folding guides when moved to the most downstream side was set to be the same as the dimension of the contents in the direction of transfer. Features: A wrapping device for packaging machines.
