Claims (1)
面に光源を配し、この光源からの光を導光体の側
面に入射し、この入射光を液晶デイスプレイと対
向する導光体の前面に導きこれより出射して液晶
デイスプレイを表示させる液晶デイスプレイの光
拡散装置において、 上記導光体に蛍光物質を含有させたことを特徴
とする液晶デイスプレイの光拡散装置。 2 液晶デイスプレイの後面に設けた導光体の側
面に光源を配し、この光源からの光を導光体の側
面に入射し、この入射光を液晶デイスプレイと対
向する導光体の前面に導きこれより出射して液晶
デイスプレイを表示させる液晶デイスプレイの光
拡散装置において、 上記導光体をその前面と後面とが平行な平板形
状になるように成形し、 この導光体の少なくとも前面に蛍光物質を塗布す
るとともに、 この蛍光物質の塗布量を上記光源から離れるに
従つて密になるようにしたことを特徴とする液晶
デイスプレイの光拡散装置。 3 上記光源と上記導光体との間に、光源からの
光を集光して導光体の側面に平行光として入射さ
せる集光体を設け、 この集光体の導光体側の表面に光を拡散する拡
散処理を施したことを特徴とする請求項1または
