bはチツプ型にしたものであり、絶縁基板6に水
晶振動子1のリード端子2,2′を固着するため
の導電部7を設ける。導電部7は絶縁基板6の主
面から側面にまで延在し、引出部としての機能を
果たしている。しかしこの様な振動子は、エポキ
シ等の絶縁基板を使用するため高価になり、また
作業工数がかかるためコスト高になる欠点があ
る。特にチツプ型の場合には耐熱性が必要となり
セラミツク基板を使用するため、安価に製造する
ことは難しい。
