However, when manufacturing an elbow using a steel plate as a material, as shown in FIG. Steel plate material B for making elbows, which is punched and plated, and the plated steel plate material B is used for making elbows.
As shown in Figure 7a, a curved compression molding process is applied to match the upper and lower edges using a predetermined press mold, and then, as shown in Figure 7a, The elbow is completed by welding the mating edges.

Furthermore, in the past, it has been required that the width of the fixed-length steel plate A to be used is at least equal to the width of the steel plate material B for making the elbow, that is, the width equal to the unfolded shape of the entire required elbow. As a result, it became impossible to use steel plates with a width even slightly narrower than this.

(Means for Solving the Problems) In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the method for cutting a steel plate material for elbow manufacturing according to the present invention is such that the upper edge portion and the lower edge portion are formed into a gentle curve. The joining edges a and a have an arcuate edge shape, and the left and right edges thereof are the edges b and b for forming the outer half of the opening surface of the required elbow and have an outward arcuate edge shape, and their lateral dimensions Let m 1 be the length corresponding to the arcuate length of the outside bend of the required elbow, and further, let its vertical dimension m 2 be the length corresponding to 1/2 circumference length (semicircle length) of the required elbow. A split steel plate material 2 for forming the bending outer member of the required elbow whose overall shape is approximately a horizontally long rectangle, and a joining edge c whose upper edge portion and lower edge portion are outwardly arcuate edges with gentle curves. , c, and the left and right edges thereof are the edges d and d for forming the inner half of the opening surface of the required elbow, which have a substantially inward arc-shaped edge shape, and the lateral dimension n 1 is the bending inner side of the required elbow. The length corresponds to the arcuate length of A split steel plate material 3 for forming the bending inner member of the required elbow exhibiting
It is characterized in that the edges b for forming the outer half of the opening surface and the edges d for forming the inner half of the opening surface are adjacent to each other, and are alternately arranged on the steel plate 1 having a fixed width. That is.

(Effects of the Invention) The method for cutting a steel plate material for making an elbow according to the present invention includes a divided steel plate material 2 for forming a bending outer member of a required elbow, the overall shape of which is approximately a horizontally long rectangle;
A divided steel plate material 3 for forming the bending inner member of the required elbow, which has a generally drum-like overall shape, is placed in such a state that the edge b for forming the outer half of the opening surface and the edge d for forming the inner half of the opening surface are adjacent to each other. Since the steel plates 1 of a fixed width are alternately arranged and cut out, the generation of residual material due to the cutout is significantly reduced. Therefore, by reducing the amount of materials used, the product cost can be significantly reduced.

That is, in the conventional sheet cutting method shown in FIG. 7, the steel plate material B for making an elbow, which has the same shape as the unfolded shape of the required elbow, is continuously punched out and formed from the regular length steel plate A. As shown in the figure, a triangular residual material D was inevitably formed between each punched material, resulting in an extremely poor yield rate.However, according to the method of the present invention, such triangular residual material Since no shaped residual material D is generated, the purpose of reducing the amount of materials used is achieved.

Furthermore, the method for cutting a steel plate material for elbow production according to the present invention includes, as a steel plate material for elbow production, a divided steel plate material 2 for forming a bending outer member of a required elbow;
Divided steel plate material 3 for forming the bending inner part of the required elbow
Since it is made by punching out two types of materials, compared to the conventional case where the material was punched out in the unfolded shape of the entire required elbow,
Cutting using a narrow steel plate of 1/2 width will be permitted. Therefore, even narrow steel plates that could not be used in the past can be used in the method of the present invention, making it possible to use materials extremely economically. It will be allowed.

The elbow according to the present invention is a bent outer member 2a obtained by press-forming the split steel plate material 2 for forming the bending outer member of the required elbow and the split steel plate material 3 for forming the bending inner member of the required elbow, respectively.
Since the bent inner member 3a and the bent inner member 3a are constructed by welding their mutual joining edges a, a and c, c, the adoption of the above-mentioned board cutting method according to the present invention is permitted, The purpose of reducing the amount of materials used as described above will be achieved. The presence of the welded portions for the joining edges a, a, c, and c does not pose any hindrance in the actual use of the elbow, so the presence of the welded portions has the effect of reducing the amount of materials used.
