Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the sticking of droplets of a liq. and mist to the body of a pipetter and the suction of them into the body and to also prevent cross contamination by forming a thin film between the body of the pipetter and a pipet tip handling the liq. CONSTITUTION:When a pipet tip 5 is fitted to the body 1 of an air substitution type pipetter and this pipetter is used, a bag-shaped thin film is formed between the body 1 and the tip 5. This thin film is easily deformed without producing a remarkable difference in atmospheric pressure between the front and rear sides of the film in accordance with the movement of a plunger 4 within the range of pipetting operation. The sticking of droplets of a liq. and mist to the body 1 and the suction of them into the body 1 are prevented and cross contamination due to the sticking and suction is also prevented.

体に付着したり吸い込まれたりする事があり、それらは
引き続いて扱われる液体と共に排出されてクロスコンタ
ミネーションを起こす事がある。これによるクロスコン
タミネーションの防止は専ら操作者の注意力と手技の熟
度に頼るのみで、それでもなお完全を期す事はできず、
根本的な防止策は無力いった。
