PURPOSE:To realize forced cooling in an installation area identical to that for a speed reduce with no cooling fan by directly mounting the cooling fan to the coupling at the shaft end. CONSTITUTION:The vanes 5 of a fan are directly mounted onto the coupling 4 provided at the shaft end of a high speed shaft 1. Cooling air is sent from the vanes 5 so that the surface temperature of a gear case 3 is thereby lowered. By this constitution, there is no need for extending the high speed shaft 1 much longer, the gear case 3 can thereby be forcibly cooled without increasing an installation area.

る必要があった。また、軸端が長く伸びたため、カップ
リング4からのモーメント荷重が増加し、高速軸1を支
持する軸受サイズを大きくする等の対策が必要であった
