[Detailed description of the invention] <Industrial application field> The present invention relates to a molded lid that is heat-sealed to the upper end surface of a container opening, and in particular, is made of a composite material of stretched plastic film and aluminum foil. The present invention relates to a molded lid that does not undergo deformation in the flange when the lid having a flange around the periphery is produced by molding and punching, and there is no problem in heat sealing it to a container.

<Conventional technology> Full-open and partially-open lids that have been used in the past are made of a composite material that includes a heat-sealable plastic sealant layer laminated with aluminum foil, and the container is surrounded by a sealant layer made of heat-sealable plastic. It had a flange portion that was heat-sealed to the upper end surface of the opening. Such a lid has been manufactured by preparing the above-mentioned composite material, press-molding it into a lid shape, and then punching it out.

Conventional molded lids have very good moldability because they use relatively thick aluminum foil. However, in order to stabilize and improve unsealability, barrier properties, and physical strength, a structure in which a stretched plastic film is added to the conventional structure has come to be used. For example, this is the case with polyester film/aluminum foil/sealant.

In other words, the aluminum foil can be made thinner, reducing costs; using stretched film improves the strength of the molded lid as a whole; therefore, it is easier to open and fully open; Since the aluminum foil is thin, the range of sealing conditions when heat-sealing to the container is wider and it is easier to stabilize.Since the aluminum foil contains a stretched film, the pinhole resistance effect of the aluminum foil is increased and the barrier property is improved. There is no deterioration, etc.

<Problems to be solved by the invention> However, when changing to the above structure, the aluminum foil becomes thinner, and since a stretched film is used, the shape retention of the material as a whole is poor, and therefore the moldability is poor. Therefore, when the lid was press-formed into the shape of a lid and punched, warping and waving of the flange, which were not seen in conventional molded lids, occurred.

The molded lid is joined to the upper end of the container opening by heat sealing, but if the flange of the molded lid is warped or wavy, it becomes difficult to feed the lid to the container opening during heat sealing. There was a problem that the molded lid that was supplied was not able to form a sufficient seal due to the molded lid becoming bent or being misaligned.

Additionally, forming ribs for reinforcement is generally widely practiced. However, since the molded lid of the present invention is joined by heat sealing, depending on the shape and formation position of the ribs, during the heat sealing,
The ribs may get in the way and make it impossible to seal.
In some cases, sufficient sealing performance may not be obtained.

<Means for Solving the Problems> In other words, the present invention is a molded lid for a container obtained by press-molding a composite material consisting of a stretched plastic film, an aluminum foil, and a sealant layer. It has a flange part around it that is to be heat sealed, and the flange part is provided with a convex annular rib that collapses into a flat shape when it is heat sealed to the upper end surface of the container opening. It features a molded lid.

<Function> In the molded lid of the present invention having the above-described configuration, the flange portion is provided with a convex annular rib, the strength of the flange portion is reinforced, and deformation of this portion does not occur.
This molded lid is heat-sealed to the upper end surface of the container opening, and at this time, the annular rib is crushed by the heat pressure during the heat sealing and becomes flat, so that the sealing performance is not affected.

First, when the composite material F is placed between the male mold A and the female mold B, the upper blade 5 and the wrinkle removing part 7 are closed together, and a portion corresponding to the flange part 3 is molded.
At this time, an annular rib 4 is simultaneously formed.
Next, the upper blade 5 and the wrinkle removing part 7 descend with the composite material F sandwiched between them, and the outer peripheral edge of the flange part 3 is sheared by the upper blade 5 and the lower blade 6, and the composite material F is shaped into a disc. Punched out. Thereafter, the male mold A and the female mold B are closed together, and the composite material punched into a disk shape is molded into the shape of a lid material. The deformation ribs 2 shown in FIG. 2 are conventionally formed, and are formed, for example, for the purpose of absorbing changes in the internal pressure of the container due to volume reduction due to cooling of the contents.

At this time, the molded lid of the present invention warps at the flange,
Since there is no deformation such as waving, there is no problem with feeding onto the container, and even during heat sealing, the molded lid does not shift from the top surface of the container opening, allowing stable heat sealing. It is possible. Note that the ribs 4 provided on the flange portion 3 will not be crushed by heat sealing and will not have an adverse effect on sealing performance.

<Effects of the invention> Since the molded lid of the invention has the above-mentioned configuration,
Even when a stretched film and thin aluminum foil are used in place of the conventional thick aluminum foil, deformations such as warping and waving do not occur in the flange portion. Therefore, we used stretched film and thin aluminum foil, which has excellent unsealability and full-openability, has a wide range of sealing conditions for containers, is easy and stable to heat seal, and does not tear by hand or at the edges. Moreover, since there is no deformation of the flange portion, there is no supply or positional displacement of the molded lid during heat sealing to the container, and sufficient sealing can be achieved.
