Abstract

PURPOSE:To simplify a configuration of a ventilation fan by a method wherein the ventilation fan is provided with a blower, an adsorbing part comprised of an adsorbing material and a heat source, an air passage comprised of a discharging passage and an adsorbing passage and a disk for changing-over the air passages. CONSTITUTION:Under an indoor circulation mode, for example, a disk 10 is placed at a position shown in the figure, an indoor air sucked from an indoor suction pipe 5 through an air passage pipe 14 under an operation of a blower 15 passes through an adsorbing material 17 and then the air is blown from an indoor blowing pipe 6 into a room. At this time, if the adsorbing material 17 is performing its adsorbing action, moisture content in the circulating indoor air is adsorbed by the adsorbing material 17, the air is blown as dry air and then dehumidifying operation can be carried out. As a heat source 16 is heated when the adsorbing material 17 is sufficiently adsorbed, the adsorbing material 17 releases the adsorbed moisture into the circulating indoor air, supplies it as air of high humidity into a room, resulting in that a humidifying operation can be carried out. With such an arrangement, a configuration of the ventilation fan can be simplified.
