(Problem that the invention aims to solve) By the way, when a fire actually breaks out and is extinguished using the water in the fire prevention water tank, the lid is opened and the fire engine's fire hose suction pipe is extinguished through the manhole opening. Firefighting activities will be carried out by lowering the water below the water level of the water tank, but in this case, if the number of suction pipes inserted into the fire tank from the manhole is one or two, the above-mentioned size will be lower than the size of the manhole. Since the diameter of the suction pipe is quite small, there is a large gap between the two, which may cause a person to fall into the fire prevention water tank. In particular, in the event of a fire, people's psychological states are at the same level, making it more likely that an accidental fall will occur.

(Means for Solving the Problems) Therefore, the technical means of the present invention is to provide a manhole cover receiving frame with a size corresponding to the opening and an upper edge enlarged portion near the opening of the manhole. A plastic container for receiving fallen objects is removably arranged so as to rest on the container, and a hole is formed in the bottom of the container to a size into which a fire hose suction pipe is inserted, and the A willow basket screen attached to the tip of the suction pipe is removably attached via a string or chain, a red prism-shaped reflector is fixed to the upper surface of the flange forming the hole, and a tapered reflector is attached to the top of the container. It is characterized in that an upper edge enlarged portion is formed and placed on the tapered inner surface of the manhole cover receiving frame.

Fiber-reinforced plastic with high strength is preferable as the material for the container, and if a colorless and transparent plastic material such as polycarbonate or polymethyl methacrylate is used, the inside of the manhole can be seen without removing the container. The number of holes through which the fire hose suction pipe is inserted can be one or more depending on the size of the manhole. If the total opening area of the hole increases, the function of the container for catching falling objects will decrease accordingly, but in this case, a strainer such as a willow cage screen attached to the end of the fire hose suction pipe should be installed in the hole. This can be done by attaching it removably.

(Function) In order to carry out fire extinguishing operations using the device with the above configuration,
Fire water can be pumped up by first opening the manhole cover, inserting the fire hose suction pipe into the hole in the container and lowering it. In this case, there is a container between the manhole and the fire hose suction pipe to catch falling objects, so people will not fall into it.

When carrying out firefighting activities by passing fire hose suction pipes through all of the above holes, if you wish to further increase the fire extinguishing ability by placing other suction pipes in the fire prevention water tank, use a container to catch fallen objects placed at the manhole opening. It is sufficient to pull the fire hose out of the manhole along the fire hose suction pipe, and in this state, insert the other fire hose suction pipe into the manhole from between the container and the manhole and lower it into the fire prevention water tank. In this way, when multiple suction pipes are inserted into the manhole, the gap between the manhole and the suction pipes becomes smaller according to the number of suction pipes, and even if the container is pulled up outside the manhole, the distance between the manhole and the suction pipes becomes smaller. In reality, it becomes impossible for a human being to fall between the two.

In the fall prevention device having such a configuration, in order to open the manhole cover 13 and actually carry out fire extinguishing operations, first insert the first suction pipe 15 into the hole 6 of the container 3, and insert the tip of the suction pipe 15 into the hole 6. Attach the willow basket screen 8 attached to 6. Next, the string or chain 9 is removed from the willow basket screen 8, and the suction pipe 15 is lowered to below the water surface of the fire prevention water tank at the bottom of the manhole 1. In this state, the container 3 is locked to the locking member 4.
It is connected and fixed to the side wall 5 of the manhole 1 via the holder, so that even if a worker accidentally steps into the manhole 1, he or she will not fall to the bottom of the manhole 1.

Next, when putting the second suction pipe 15' into the fire prevention water tank, after unlocking the locking member 4, as shown in FIG. All you have to do is pull it up and lower the second suction pipe 15' into the fire prevention water tank.
After this, in order to put the third and subsequent suction pipes 15'' into the fire prevention water tank, while lifting the container 3, insert the third and subsequent suction pipes 15'' from the gap that is created between the manhole 1 and the suction pipes 15 and 15'. They can be entered sequentially.

In this way, by inserting a predetermined number of suction pipes 15, 15', 15'' into the manhole 1, the distance between the two suction pipes 1 and 15, 15', 15'' is larger than the size of the worker's foot. It can be made smaller, and falling accidents can be prevented even if the container 3 is pulled up outside the manhole 1.

(Effects of the invention) As described above, according to the invention, in a manhole such as a fire prevention water tank, the suction pipe for the fire hose used at the beginning of firefighting activities can be lowered by inserting it through the hole in the container provided at the manhole opening. Therefore, even if only one suction pipe is pushed into a manhole, there is no large gap between the manhole and the suction pipe, so even if a person is upset during a fire, there is no chance of falling from the manhole. It can be prevented. Also,
Attach the willow cage screen attached to the hole to the tip of the suction pipe, immediately remove the string or chain from the willow cage screen, and lower the suction pipe below the water surface of the fire prevention water tank at the bottom of the manhole, allowing for rapid firefighting. I can do it. In addition, since the upper edge expansion part of the container is placed on the manhole cover receiving frame, the container can be quickly and easily attached and detached due to the fact that the plastic container is light. The edge expansion portion functions as a buffer between the manhole cover and the receiving frame, and can prevent rattling when a car or the like passes over the manhole cover. moreover,
Dust, dirt, etc. that enter the manhole through the gas vent hole in the manhole cover are collected in the container.
There is no need to go down to the bottom of the manhole to collect mud as in the past. In addition, a red prism type reflector is attached to the top surface of the flange that forms the hole, so the position of the hole in the container can be easily confirmed even at night, which is effective in ensuring safety during nighttime work.
