For this reason, a mechanism is required to break up the toner accumulated on the toner guide plate.

Due to the presence of this malt plane 1, the movement of the moquette seal member 3 becomes flexible, the adhesion between the cleaning blade 5 and the moquette seal member 3 can be improved, and the effect of preventing toner scattering from the gap can be improved.

The reason why the moquette seal member 3 is provided near the moquette seal member 3 is that, as mentioned above, toner is likely to scatter, leak, or break from the position of the gap between the cleaning blade 5 and the moquette seal member 3 (the position of arrow a). This is because toner tends to accumulate near the ends of the toner guide plate 6. In this embodiment, the screw brush 8 is made of a plate spring and has three brushes 9a, 9b, and 9c (made of PET base, thickness 0.1 mm, width 1.5 s). Each brush 9a, 9b, 9c is located between the spirals 10 of the toner conveying screw 7.

If the brushes 9a, 9b, 9c come into strong contact with the toner conveying screw 7, the brushes will be caught up in the rotation of the screws and deformed, so it is best to have a light contact. According to experiments by the present inventor, when the screw diameter is 10 mm, a suitable angle θ is 10° to 18″.

Therefore, each brush 9a, 9b, 9c always moves up and down, and when moving downward, it breaks up the toner accumulation portion (not shown) on the toner guide plate 6 and causes it to fall to the screw side.

。In this embodiment, one screw brush 8 is provided at one end of the screw, but it is not necessarily limited to this, and if restrictions on the number of parts etc. are solved, multiple screw brushes 8 can be provided as shown in FIG. Screw brushes 8a and 8b may be arranged along the screw. In this case, the range in which the toner accumulation prevention effect can be obtained is expanded, and the toner recovery rate is also increased.
