Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide an easily writable tacky adhesive sheet writable with a marking pen to form an erasable written mark, stickable to an arbitrary part and easily releasable from the applied part after use to enable the reuse of the sheet. CONSTITUTION:The objective sheet is produced by applying an electron-curable resin to a surface of a substrate sheet having a Smooster surface flatness of <=20cmHg, curing the resin layer to form a writable layer and coating the back face of the sheet with a tacky adhesive layer having a 180 deg. peeling force from stainless steel plate of 30-500g in conformity to JIS-Z-0237.

2. Description of the Related Art In place of conventional blackboards that use chalk, whiteboards are now being used on which people can write with marking pens and erase their handwriting with cloth or the like. in general,
A whiteboard is a rigid substrate with a surface made of ceramic or synthetic resin that makes it easy for marking pen ink to adhere to it, giving it writing properties, but it is also processed to prevent the ink from penetrating, giving it erasability. ing.

However, ceramics are not easy to manufacture;
The methods of painting and baking synthetic resin onto the surface of the substrate also have low productivity and are both very expensive. In addition, a writing layer formed by processing a plastic sheet with a cured resin and pasting it onto the surface of a substrate is used, but this is also expensive. Furthermore, magnetic sheets are known in which magnets are attached to erasable writable sheets, but these are limited to places where they can be pasted where there is a magnetic effect.

[0004] With a structure similar to such a blackboard, the overall installation area is large and the weight is large, making it difficult to manufacture and transport. All of these are expensive due to materials, productivity, logistics handling, etc.

[0005] Thermosetting resins such as melamine resins and unsaturated ester resins and ultraviolet curable resins are used as synthetic resins to form the writing layer of whiteboards. The stain resistance and hardness are insufficient, and erasability deteriorates with repeated use. Although ultraviolet curable resins have sufficient stain resistance and hardness, they have the drawback that the photopolymerization initiator and photosensitizer contained in the paint decompose, causing yellowing of the surface of the writing layer.

[0006] Furthermore, it is necessary that the surface of the writing layer has excellent smoothness; if a sufficiently smooth surface is not formed, erasability will be poor. Particularly when trying to erase handwriting that has been left for a long time after writing, the marking ink dyes and pigments that have entered the recesses of the writing surface and dried cannot be easily wiped off, and cannot be erased unless cleaned with water or a solvent. I won't be able to do it.

[0007] Furthermore, various types of tack paper, which are coated with an adhesive on the back side of paper, are available as inexpensive and easy-to-use items that can be pasted on any desired location. However, with paper with a normal writing surface, it is difficult to erase the letters after one use, and with regular tack paper, it is difficult to use and handle, as the paper tears when peeled off after use, and adhesive remains on the pasted surface. If you fail, cleaning afterwards will be difficult.

[Function] As a result of intensive research in response to the above-mentioned demands, the present inventors provided a writing layer of electron beam curing resin on the surface of a specific base material sheet with excellent smoothness, and created a writing layer on the back surface of this sheet. The present invention was completed by providing a specific adhesive layer.

The surface smoothness of the side of the base sheet used in the present invention on which the writing layer is formed has a smoothness of 20.
It is important that the surface has excellent smoothness and is below cmHg. If it exceeds 20 cmHg and the smoothness is poor, the coating amount of the writing layer must be increased, which is unfavorable from the quality of writability and erasability, as well as from the operational and economic aspects.

[0012] The base sheet has a smoothness of 20
If it is below cmHg, a general base sheet may be used, such as a film sheet of polyester, polypropylene, polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, polyvinylidene chloride, polycarbonate, polyamide, polystyrene, or a composite sheet thereof, laminated paper, coated paper, etc.
Undercoated paper, single-sided bleached kraft paper with good smoothness, etc. are used. Particularly, in applications where low cost and ease of use are desired, coated papers such as cast coated paper and art coated paper are preferred from the viewpoint of processability and price.

[0013] In the present invention, the electron beam curable resin paint used for forming the writing layer contains a film-forming component and a reactive diluent as main components, and optionally contains solvents, dyes and pigments, fillers, etc. It is crosslinked and cured in a few seconds by irradiating the coated surface with an electron beam.

In particular, polyester (meth)acrylate is more preferable because it is excellent in writability with a marking pen, stain resistance, and surface hardening of a cured coating film.

[0015] The reactive diluent is blended to reduce the viscosity of the film-forming component to facilitate coating work, and to crosslink and network the film-forming component when exposed to electron beam irradiation. It is usually a polyfunctional oligomer or monomer. The reactive diluent of the present invention has 2
Monomers having at least one acrylate group and/or methacrylate group are preferably used, and specific examples thereof include trimethylolpropane tri(meth)acrylate, pentaerythritol tri(meth)acrylate, butazineol di(meth)acrylate, neo Pentyl glycol di(meth)acrylate, 1,6-

If the amount of curable paint applied is too small, sufficient stain resistance and hardness will not be obtained, and if it is too large, the base sheet will be distorted and curling will occur during curing.
The thickness is preferably 1 to 10 μm, particularly preferably about 1 to 10 μm. For electron beam irradiation, an electrocurtain type electron beam irradiation device is preferably used, but the present invention is not limited to this, and various commonly used types and systems of irradiation devices may be used.

In the present invention, an adhesive layer having an adhesive strength of 30 to 500 g to a stainless steel plate by the 180 degree peeling method specified in JIS-Z-0237 is provided on the back side of the writing layer sheet. If the adhesive strength is less than 30 g, there is a risk that the adhesive will peel off immediately even if it is pasted, or that it will not stick evenly and may blister. On the other hand, if the adhesive strength is as high as 500 g, it will not be possible to re-peel the adhesive as desired, so it is important to specify the adhesive strength.

[0020] The adhesive force can be adjusted within a range suitable for the intended use by selecting and blending the adhesive, tackifier, and auxiliary agent. It is also possible to adjust the adhesive strength by mixing fillers such as various particles. The coating amount of the adhesive layer is 5 to 30 g/m2, more preferably 10 to 25 g/m2.
It is adjusted within the range of m2. Since the amount of coating is related to adhesive strength, it needs to be set in accordance with the selection of the above-mentioned materials and adjustment of the composition.
