Abstract

PURPOSE:To operate satisfactorily a bath-heating apparatus both in providing a bubbling bath and in additional heating even where the piping extends long by providing a water flow-controlling valve in a bypass detouring a heat exchanger for bathwater in a setup to fully open this valve when a bubbling bath is provided and to throttle it when additional heating is effected. CONSTITUTION:The water in a bath 10 circulates by the action of a circulating pump 21, flowing through an outflow pipe 31 from the bath, a bathwater heat-exchanger 23, and a supply pipe 32 to the bath. The burner 22 for the bathwater works only when the water flowing from the outflow pipe 31 and through a water-flow switch 26 exceeds a certain amount in flow-rate. The bath 10 is provided with a circulating fitting 11 which is an air-drawing means 12 for incorporating air with the circulating water. In addition to this setup a bypass 33 equipped with a water flow-controlling valve 27 and detouring the bathwater heat-exchanger 23 is provided.
