【考案の詳細な説明】 〈産業上の利用分野〉 本考案は、電子写真複写機における転写材を搬
送するための転写材案内装置に関するものであ
る。

材に転写する。転写手段としては、転写材を感光
体表面に密着させた後、該背面部より直流高圧の
印加された転写電極によるコロナ放電転写法が一
般に行なわれている。良好な転写を行なうために
は、感光体表面に転写材を適当圧力で確実に密着
させることが必要であり、更には感光体の周速と
転写材の移動速度が相対的に一致することが要求
される。前述の感光体と転写材の密着が不十分の
場合には、密着の良好な不十分な場所とで転写効
率がことなり、転写ムラが生じ、甚だしい場合に
は該部の転写が行なわれず、所謂、白ヌケ、画像
ずれ等の現像が起る。又感光体と転写材の相対速
度がことなると、その差分により転写トナー像の
乱れがおき良好なコピー画像は得られなくなる。
そこで、この種の装置においては、転写部手前の
転写材ガイド機構によつて、転写材の先端が感光
体の表面にある角度をもつて当接するようガイド
し、転写材自身の剛性、すなわち、こしの強さに
よつて転写材を感光体の表面に適当圧力で密着さ
せるようにしている。したがつて、最適な転写材
のこしの強さを生じさせるためには、転写材をガ
イドしている感光体の近傍に設けられた転写材案
内装置と感光体との相対位置が重要となる。この
ため転写材をガイドするための案内装置は、上下
ガイド板の間隔を狭くして、転写材の進入方向を
定めるように構成されている。ところが、均量の
軽い転写材(例えば、薄い転写紙)はこしが弱
く、均量の重い転写材(例えば、厚い転写紙、葉
書)はこしが強いという性質があるため、前者の
最適進入方向で後者の転写材を転写部に進入させ
ると、転写材の後端と転写材案内装置の上ガイド
板とが干渉して、ブレーキ現象がおき、そのため
感光体と転写材の相対速度が変り、転写材の先端
汚れ、又はトナー画像の乱れが起る。又、後者の
最適進入方向で前者の転写材を転写部に進入させ
ると、転写材のこしが弱いため、感光体との密着
力が減少し、転写不良が生ずるという問題があ
る。このため、転写材案内装置を回動しうる如く
構成し、こしの弱い転写材、あるいは、こしの強
い転写材に対し、夫々転写材の転写部への進入方
向が変化出来るように構成されたものがあるが、
該手段は、構成並びにその制御が複雑となり、前
記変化時の位置規制が困難であり、安定した転写
材の搬送が期待出来ないという問題がある。

れた転写極8のコロナ放電により、感光体ドラム
1上のトナー像は、転写材P上に転写される。次
いで、転写材Pは剥離器として交流高圧の印加さ
れた分離電極9のコロナ放電により感光体ドラム
1から剥離され、搬送ベルト10により図示しな
い定着装置へ搬送され、転写材P上のトナー像の

給送ローラー5は、図示されざる装置本体側駆動
機構により、該部に転写材Pが到達する時点か
ら、感光体ドラム1の転写部に進入させる迄時計
方向に回転駆動するように構成されている。な

転写材P(こしの強い小型サイズ紙)を搬送しう
る幅員で設けられ、かつ、転写材Pの後端部が該
