護効果の優れたものである。DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention relates to hair cosmetics, and more particularly, since the cosmetics selectively adsorb to damaged areas of hair, the texture of the hair is improved. This invention relates to a hair cosmetic that has a strong hair protection effect. [Prior Art and Problems to be Solved by the Invention] As the frequency of hair beauty treatments such as excessive brushing, hair drying, perming, and hair dyeing increases,
Hair damage also tends to increase. When such hair damage is severe, split ends and cut hair occur. Conventionally,
In order to prevent such hair damage, many hair cosmetics having a hair protecting effect have been developed. Such hair cosmetics include silicone (Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 1-272513),
Film-forming polymers, complex-forming polymers, etc. are added to the hair, and these ingredients are adsorbed onto the hair to protect the hair. [0003] However, since the adsorption of these ingredients to the hair affects not only the damaged area but also the entire hair, the hair as a whole does not have a natural finish and feels strange.
The feel was also not good. Therefore, there has been a desire for a hair cosmetic that has a good hair feel, can provide a natural finish, and has an excellent hair protection effect. [Means for Solving the Problems] Under these circumstances, the present inventors conducted a comparative study between damaged and non-damaged areas of hair in order to solve the above-mentioned problems, and found that the damaged areas of hair are A hair cosmetic that contains polymer latex that has a positive potential and a negative ζ potential and has a specific pH specifically adsorbs to damaged areas of the hair, giving the hair a natural finish with a pleasant texture. The present invention was completed based on the discovery that the hair-protecting effect is excellent. That is, the present invention provides a hair cosmetic containing 0.01 to 10% by weight (solid content) of a polymer latex having a negative ζ potential and having a pH of 3 to 5.5 as a whole. It is something to do. The polymer latex having a negative ζ potential according to the present invention can be produced by a known method such as emulsion polymerization of polymerizable monomers or emulsification of a polymer. In emulsion polymerization, if an anionic emulsifier is used for emulsion polymerization, a polymer latex having a negative ζ potential can be easily obtained. Also,
When an anionic monomer is contained in a normal polymerizable monomer or an anionic initiator is used as an initiator, a polymer latex with a negative ζ potential can be obtained even if a nonionic emulsifier is used. be able to. [0007] When an anionic monomer such as styrene sulfonate is contained in the polymerizable monomer, a polymer latex having a stable negative ζ potential can be obtained without using any emulsifier during emulsion polymerization. Can be done. When emulsifying a polymer, in the case of a polymer with anionic functional groups, if the non-aqueous solvent solution is added to water while stirring and mixed, then the non-aqueous solvent is removed.
Polymer latexes with negative ζ potential can be obtained. In the case of a polymer that does not have an anionic functional group, a polymer latex having a negative ζ potential can be obtained by emulsifying it using an anionic emulsifier and mechanical force using a homomixer or the like. Specific examples of copolymers with anionic functional groups include styrene/methacrylic acid copolymer, butyl acrylate/methyl methacrylate/acrylic acid copolymer,
Examples include vinyl acetate/methacrylic acid copolymer, styrene/2-ethyloctyl acrylate/styrene sulfonic acid copolymer, isobutyl methacrylate/ethyl acrylate/itaconic acid copolymer, and the like. Examples of anionic emulsifiers used in emulsion polymerization and polymer emulsification include alkylbenzene sulfonic acid Na salt, lauryl sulfate Na salt, polyoxyethylene lauryl ether sulfate ester Na salt, and a copolymer of maleic acid and olefin. Examples include Na salt of , formalin condensate of naphthalene sulfonate, and the like. Examples of anionic initiators used in emulsion polymerization include persulfates such as potassium persulfate and ammonium persulfate, azobiscyanovaleric acid, and p-ethanesulfonate-substituted benzoyl peroxide. Examples of anionic monomers include carboxylic acid or sulfonic acid monomers such as acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, styrene sulfonic acid, vinylnaphthalene sulfonic acid, maleic acid, fumaric acid, crotonic acid, itaconic acid, or salts thereof. Examples include monomers such as These monomers may be used alone or in combination of two or more. Common monomers include, for example, ethylenically unsaturated monomers such as ethylene, propylene, isobutene, and butene-1; aromatic vinyls such as styrene, α-methylstyrene, vinyltoluene, halogenated styrene, and divinylbenzene; Monomer; Acrylic acid ester with alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms such as ethyl acrylate, butyl acrylate, and 2-ethylhexyl acrylate; Carbon number such as methyl methacrylate, butyl methacrylate, lauryl methacrylate, etc. methacrylic acid esters having 1 to 20 carbon atoms; vinyl esters such as vinyl acetate and vinyl propionate; vinyl ethers having 1 to 20 carbon atoms such as ethyl vinyl ether and butyl vinyl ether; methyl vinyl ketone;
Vinyl ketones with 1 to 20 carbon atoms such as ethyl vinyl ketone; Vinyl cyanide monomers such as acrylonitrile and methacrylonitrile; Vinyl halides and vinylidene halides such as vinyl chloride, vinyl bromide, vinylidene chloride, and vinylidene bromide ;1,3-butadiene,2-methyl-1
, 3-butadiene and other aliphatic conjugated dienes. These monomers can be used alone or in combination of two or more. The zeta potential of the polymer latex obtained as described above is negative, especially -20 mV to -1
00mV (pH 3-5.5)
. In addition, the ζ potential is PENKEM LASER ZE.
Measured using E Model 501. The hair cosmetic of the present invention contains the polymer latex synthesized by the above method, and the particle size thereof is 10 to 500 μm, and the blending amount is 0.01 to 10% by weight as solid content.
, particularly preferably 0.1 to 5% by weight. The blending amount is 0.01
If it is less than 10% by weight, a sufficient hair protection effect cannot be obtained, and if it exceeds 10% by weight, it may adsorb to the hair more than necessary and the feel may be impaired. [0013] The pH of the hair cosmetic of the present invention is 3 to 5.5.
It is. If the pH is less than 3, it will damage the hair, and if it is more than 5.5, selective adsorption of the polymer to the damaged area will be difficult to occur, both of which are unfavorable. The pH can be adjusted using known acidic or alkaline substances commonly used in hair cosmetics. The cosmetic of the present invention further contains ingredients commonly used in hair cosmetics, such as higher fatty acid salts, alkylamine oxides, fatty acid alkanolamides, squalene,
Feel improvers such as lanolin; humectants such as propylene glycol, glycerin, and sorbitol; methylcellulose,
Viscosity modifiers such as carboxyvinyl polymer, hydroxyethyl cellulose, polyoxyethylene glycol distearate, and ethanol; Pearlizing agents; Fragrances; Pigments; Ultraviolet rays; Anti-inflammatory agents such as potassium and tocopherol acetate; anti-dandruff agents such as zinc pyrithione and octopirox; and preservatives such as methylparaben and butylparaben can also be optionally added to the extent that they do not impair the effects of the invention. [0015] The hair cosmetics of the present invention include hair conditioners, hair mousses, blow-drying agents, hair sprays, etc., and can be suitably used in both rinse-off and non-rinse types.
Alternatively, in shampoo compositions containing 10% or more of an amphoteric surfactant, it is difficult to obtain the desired hair protection effect, which is not preferable. [Example 1] The present invention will be explained in more detail below with reference to synthesis examples and examples, but the present invention is not limited thereto. Synthesis Example 1 In a reaction vessel equipped with a stirrer, a reflux condenser, a dropping funnel and a thermometer, 60 parts of ion-exchanged water, polyoxyethylene lauryl ether P=50 (Emulgen 15
0.0 parts (manufactured by Kao Corporation), 8.0 parts of potassium persulfate, 0.16 parts of potassium persulfate
After replacing the inside of the system with nitrogen gas, the temperature was increased to 65°C.
Increase the temperature to. A mixture of 38 parts of styrene and 2 parts of methacrylic acid is added dropwise to this over 4 hours. After the dropwise addition was completed, the temperature was raised to 70°C and an aging reaction was performed for 2 hours to obtain a polymer latex having a negative ζ potential. Synthesis Example 2 Emulsion polymerization was carried out in the same manner as in Example 1 except that 39 parts of styrene and 10 parts of a 10% sodium styrene sulfonate aqueous solution were added dropwise as monomers separately. A polymer latex having the following properties was obtained. Comparative Synthesis Example 1 Emulsion polymerization was carried out in the same manner as in Synthesis Example 1 except that the monomers were changed to 39 parts of styrene and 1 part of dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate to obtain a polymer latex having a positive zeta potential. Example 1 The polymer latexes synthesized in Synthesis Example 1, Synthesis Example 2, and Comparative Synthesis Example 1 were adjusted to have a solid content of 0.1% by weight and a predetermined pH as shown in Table 1. A hair cosmetic was obtained. The obtained hair cosmetics were tested for the following items. The results are shown in Table 2. Test item (1) A bundle of Japanese permed hair, which is often damaged to the touch, was immersed in a hair cosmetic for 1 minute, wrung out, and air-dried. The texture was evaluated by 20 female expert panelists and judged based on the following criteria. ○: 14 or more out of 20 people answered that it was good △: 7 to 13 out of 20 people answered that it was good ×: 6 or less out of 20 people answered that it was good 0022
(2) Selective adsorption to hair damaged areas, causing a lot of damage;
Japanese permed hair was immersed in the hair cosmetic for 1 minute, then in distilled water for 2 minutes, rinsed, and air-dried. This hair was observed using a scanning electron microscope, and the adhesion state of the polymer on the hair surface was evaluated using the following evaluation criteria. A: Selectively adsorbed to damaged hair areas. B: Adsorbed on almost the entire surface. C: Almost no adsorption. (3) Hair protection effect: 15cm200 hair damaged by Japanese perm
After soaking real hair in hair cosmetics for 1 minute and squeezing it out,
Air dried. [0024] This hair was brushed 10,000 times using a nylon brush, once every 2 seconds. After this, by counting the number of split ends and cut hairs,
The hair protection effect against brushing was evaluated. [Table 1] [Table 2] [0027] Example 2 Conditioner composition:
