On the other hand, gold does not oxidize, always shines beautifully, and is harmless, according to Food Sanitation Law No. 4.
In addition to being able to be used as a food additive according to the Articles of Invention, gold has also been found to have the effect of suppressing the odor of chlorine in tap water, as it directly combines with chlorine and bromine.

The above-mentioned gold leaf is a powder of 10 mm 2 or less that is mixed with tea, but if it is mixed with a mixer, the centrifugal wind pressure will cause the gold powder to fly up, making it impossible to mix the tea leaves to a uniform density. There was a problem that gold powder that did not adhere to the surface would accumulate at the bottom.

This invention solves the above problems and achieves the purpose by raising the temperature of tea leaves to around 50°C using a dryer, and then feeding the heated tea leaves into a mixer.
A technical method for producing tea containing gold leaf powder is provided, which is characterized in that gold leaf powder is put into the mixer, stirred and mixed, the gold leaf powder is attached to the tea leaves, and then the tea leaves are taken out from the mixer and rapidly cooled. When such tea leaves are transferred to a mixer that does not cool easily, and a separately prepared gold leaf powder is added and mixed, the gold leaf powder adheres to the surface of the tea leaves due to the moisture on the surface of the tea leaves. Therefore, if the gold leaf powder is stirred and mixed well, it will not be blown up by the wind and will adhere uniformly to the tea leaves.

After that, the tea leaves are taken out of the mixer and cooled rapidly. The heat causes the spread tea leaves to contract and the moisture to dry out in the cool air. In addition, the adhesion strength is increased because the gold leaf powder is partially sandwiched between the wrinkles created by the shrinkage of the tea leaves.

Therefore, by heating the tea leaves, the moisture contained in the tea leaves begins to evaporate, and the moisture oozes out and adheres to the surface of the tea leaves like sweat. In addition, the dried tea leaves, which are rolled into thin, curly shapes, spread out as the water leaches out.

(b) Transfer the tea leaves heated in the above step into a mixer that has been kept at a temperature of 40°C or above, and add 2 g of the gold leaf powder to the mixer, rotate the mixer, and mix the tea leaves and gold leaf powder. The mixture was stirred and mixed until it had a uniform density.

Since gold leaf powder is extremely thin, it will be blown away by the slightest breeze, but as mentioned above, as the tea leaves are heated, moisture oozes out on the surface, and this water causes the gold leaf to spread onto the surface of the tea leaves. Powder sticks together. However, once they are in close contact, the gold leaf powder closely follows the irregularities of the tea leaves due to the pressure caused by the stirring and mixing by the mixer, making it difficult to peel them off.

By rapidly cooling the tea leaves at a temperature as low as minus 10 degrees Celsius, the water adhering to the surface of the tea leaves freezes and the tea leaves are dried in cold air, so the tea does not lose its flavor. In addition, the tea leaves, which had expanded due to heating, contract due to the cold air, and the wrinkles become deeper, so that the gold leaf powder adhering to the surface becomes trapped between the wrinkles. As a result, the gold leaf powder becomes difficult to peel off even when the tea leaves are shaken, and the gold leaf powder is prevented from peeling off and gathering under the tea leaves.

When the tea containing gold leaf powder obtained through the above process was placed in a glass container for display and sale, the gold leaf powder glittered in the lighting and had a decorative effect. Also, when I put this tea in a Kyuusu and poured it into a teacup in the usual way, I could see a slight amount of gold leaf powder in the hot water in the teacup, and I saw gold powder shining like a sparkling star on the bottom of the teacup. Enjoying tea while enjoying tea was something that soothed the soul during tea time.
