The artificial decorative veneer A is made by dyeing a wooden veneer 1, stacking it on top of each other with an adhesive, and heating-pressing it between a convex mold 10 and a concave mold 11 as shown in FIG. It is obtained by slicing this laminated wood 3 with a slicer 12 along a plane that intersects with the laminated plane of the wood veneer 1 as shown in FIG. 1b.
In this artificial decorative veneer A, the wood grain is expressed by the color of the adhesive and the color of the wood veneer 1.
In this case, if the wooden veneer 1 is simply dyed, the color of the annual rings 13 formed by the wooden veneer 1 on the artificial decorative veneer A will be uniform and the natural look will be very poor. Therefore, by making the dye applied unevenly to the wood veneer 1 or by dyeing the wood veneer 1 in different shadings, the wood veneer 1 is partially dyed in shading, thereby imparting color to the annual rings 13. The unevenness was created to improve the natural feel. However, such dyeing work is very time-consuming and has the problem of significantly lowering production efficiency and, if it is attempted to be automated, equipment costs will be high.

The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and it is possible to impart color unevenness to a wooden veneer without the need to cause uneven coating when applying dye or to differentiate the shades of light and shade. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for producing an artificially decorated veneer that can be dyed depending on the state of the veneer and can also produce an artificially decorated veneer with a natural feel.

First, a dye is applied to the surface of a wooden veneer 1 obtained by rotary or slicing raw wood using a coating device 14 (FIG. 2a). Next, this wooden veneer 1 is subjected to a steaming treatment, and at this time, the surface of the wooden veneer 1 is covered with a sheet 2 and steaming is performed.
In this example, the sheet 2 is made of a sheet having higher thermal conductivity than a wood veneer, such as a metal foil or a resin sheet mixed with metal powder, as shown in Fig. 2b.
When the surface of the wood veneer 1 is partially covered with the sheet 2 as shown in the figure, the heating effect is higher on the wood veneer 1 in the area covered with the sheet 2 than in other areas, The dye stains the wood veneer 1 in a dark color as shown in Figure 2 c, while it stains the wood veneer 1 in a light color in other areas, with variations in shading. Veneer 1
You will be able to obtain This wood veneer 1
A large number of sheets are stacked using colored adhesive to form the first layer.
A laminated timber 3 is obtained by heat-forming between a convex mold 10 and a concave mold 11 as shown in Figure a. Then, by slicing this laminated wood 3 diagonally so as to intersect the laminated surface of the wood veneer 1 in the same manner as in FIG. 1b, an artificial decorative veneer A is obtained. In the case of this artificial decorative veneer A, when the wood veneer 1 is dyed in a spring wood color and the adhesive is colored in a summer wood color, the sliced surface of the wood veneer 1 is attached to the spring wood part with the adhesive. The sliced surface becomes the summer wood and is expressed as a wood grain pattern. Furthermore, in this case, the wood veneer 1 is dyed in shades, so the annual rings in the spring wood are visible. 13, color variations are expressed as shown in FIG. 2d, emphasizing the natural feel. In the above example, a part of the wood veneer 1 is covered with a sheet 2 with high thermal conductivity to give different shades of dyeing within one wood veneer 1, but as shown in Figure 2e, the wood veneer 1 The entire surface of the wooden veneer 1 is covered with a highly thermally conductive sheet 2, and steaming is carried out in this state so that the entire surface of the wood veneer 1 is dyed in a deep color as shown in Figure 2 f. In addition to this wood veneer 1, we also used a wood veneer 1 that was steamed and dyed in a light color without covering it with a sheet 2 with high thermal conductivity, and this dark-colored wood veneer 1 ( Figure 2g
A laminated timber 3 is created by laminating a light-colored wood veneer 1 (indicated by an arrow B in Fig. 2g) with a colored adhesive, and this laminated timber 3 is Artificial decorative veneer A can be obtained by slicing. In the case of this artificial decorative veneer A, since the annual rings 13 of the spring wood are expressed by the dark-colored wood veneer 1 and the light-colored wood veneer 1, the color between the annual rings 13 is different as shown in Figure 2b. It is possible to give variations in color, emphasizing the natural feel. In the above embodiment, by using sheets 2 with various thermal conductivities, or by using the sheets 2 on both the front and back surfaces of the wood veneer 1, only on the front surface, and only on the back surface, variations in the dyeing of the wood veneer 1 can be achieved. can be produced in a wide variety of ways.

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 3, a sheet having heat insulating properties such as a rubber sheet is used as the sheet 2.
That is, first, as shown in FIG. 3a, a dye is applied to the surface of a wooden veneer 1 using a coating device 14, and then the sheet 2 is placed on the front and back surfaces of the wood veneer 1 and steamed. As a result, the heat transfer during steaming is blocked by the sheet 2 and is difficult to be carried out from the front and back surfaces of the wood veneer 1, and the steam caused by the steaming process acts exclusively from the end surface of the wood veneer 1 as shown in Figure 4. Thus, the wood veneer 1 becomes hot at the edges and cold at the center. Therefore, as shown in FIG.
The migration into the wood veneer 1 is greater than on the coated surface, and the migration is smaller in the central region, which is a low temperature region. In this way, the migration of the dye 15 is large at the edges of the wood veneer 1, resulting in dyeing in a light color, and the migration of the dye 15 is small in the center of the wood veneer 1, resulting in dyeing in a dark color at the surface. That will happen.
Using the wood veneer 1 dyed in this way, the first
When artificial decorative veneer A is created in the same manner as in Figures a and b, the dyed part of this artificial decorative veneer A is expressed as summer wood and the other parts as spring wood, and it is made of natural wood. There is a transition area from the summer wood area to the spring wood area, and as shown in Figure 6, in this transition area 16, the dye migrates into the wood veneer 1 as shown in Figure 5, and dyeing is performed. Furthermore, in natural wood, the transition part 16 is represented by the annual ring 1.
3, the width is narrow at the bent part and wide at the straight part, but as shown in Figure 5, the dye transfer is large at the edges of the wood veneer 1, and the dye transfer is large at the center of the wood veneer 1. Since it is small, the narrowing and widening of the transition portion 16 can be expressed to resemble natural wood. In the above embodiments, by appropriately using various sheets 2 having different heat insulating properties, the degree of dye migration can be adjusted in various ways.

As mentioned above, in the present invention, since the surface of the wooden veneer coated with dye is steamed by stacking sheets, it is possible to use sheets with high thermal conductivity or high heat insulation properties. Also, by partially overlapping the sheet on the wood veneer, it is possible to easily dye the wood veneer in shades of light and shade. It is possible to obtain artificially decorated veneer.
