There was a thick pot that could be used as a small oven on a cooking range, and it was known as a cooking device that could cook anhydrous dishes using only the moisture contained in the food.

Some of the lids of these pots are provided with protrusions on the inner surface of the lid to allow condensed water droplets to drip onto cooking ingredients, and these are also imported and sold in Japan.

The above-mentioned conventional pot lid has one or two string-like protrusions with an inverted arch-like round cross-section intermittently arranged in an annular manner as shown in FIG. 7 on the inner surface of the lid. It had a so-called "as-cast" rough surface with heavy drooping.

However, with the pot lid of the above structure, the round cross-sectional shape of the protrusion and the rough surface make it difficult for water droplets that have condensed on the inner surface of the lid to quickly and completely drip onto the cooking ingredients. I can't do it,
This has the problem that some of the flavor and nutrients of the cooking ingredients remain attached to the inner surface of the lid and are easily lost along with the steam, making it impossible to make delicious oven dishes.

In this invention, a circular trapezoidal top portion 1 having a radius of approximately 1/2 of the lid radius is provided on the upper surface of the central portion of the lid, the inner surface of which has a gently arcuate cross-sectional shape, and a circular trapezoidal top portion 1 is formed at the base of the periphery of the circular trapezoidal top portion 1. The water drop ring 2 is provided on the inner surface of the lid corresponding to the stepped portion 3 in which a plurality of protruding bands having an inverted scalene triangular cross-sectional shape with an obtuse downward apex angle are arranged intermittently. This solves the above problems.

When using the pot lid according to this invention, the steam released from the cooking ingredients rises to the inner surface of the lid due to heating.
Dew condenses due to the temperature difference between the inside of the pot and the pot lid, reaches the arcuate cross-sectional shape of the inner surface of the lid, reaches the ring 2, passes through each protruding band of the ring, and quickly condenses from the apex of the inverted scalene triangular cross-sectional shape. And it is dripped onto the cooking ingredients in sufficient quantity.

At this time, since a circular trapezoidal top part 1 with a size approximately half the lid radius is provided at the center of the lid, the steam on the inner surface of the lid tends to concentrate and condense on the inner surface of this top part 1.
Further, on the inner surface of the lid corresponding to the peripheral base of the top 1, wide protruding bands with an inverted scalene triangular cross section are intermittently provided in an annular shape to form a water drop ring 2, so that condensation condenses on the inner surface of the top. The water droplets are successively passed through the water droplet ring 2 and dripped onto the cooking ingredients from the top of the inverted triangle.

In this case, the dripping position is approximately 1/2 the radius of the lid, which is convenient because the dripping is placed exactly in the middle of the contents of the pot.

The steam emitted from cooking ingredients contains the flavor and nutrients of the ingredients themselves, so by actively dripping and circulating this without letting it escape, extremely delicious oven dishes can be made. .

A circular trapezoidal top 1 having a radius of about 1/2 of the radius of the lid is provided at the center of the lid, and the top 1 is slightly concave on the inner surface of the lid, making it easier for steam to collect.

In addition, on the inner surface of the lid at a position corresponding to the step 3 formed at the base of the circular trapezoidal top 1, a water drop ring 2 according to the present invention is formed in a protruding shape that smoothly connects to the gently arcuate cross-sectional shape of the inner surface of the lid. They are protruded by intermittent ring-shaped rows of bands.

This water drop ring 2 is not a narrow round protrusion such as a string like that provided on the inner surface of a conventional pot lid, but has a cross-sectional shape of an inverted scalene triangle with an obtuse apex angle as shown in Fig. 6. It is a shape in which a plurality of wide protruding bands with apex angles are arranged intermittently.

When using the pot lid according to the present invention as described above, steam emitted from cooking ingredients tends to collect on the inner surface of the circular trapezoidal top 1, and condensed water droplets are collected at the base of the periphery of the inner surface of the top 1. The water droplets pass through the side surface of the water droplet ring 2, which is a wide hanging band, and are quickly and without waste dripped onto the cooking ingredients from the apex tip of the water droplet ring 2.

Furthermore, the water droplet ring 2 is approximately 1/1/2 the radius of the lid.
Since it is provided in an annular shape at 2, the water droplets are dropped in the middle of the cooking ingredients and are distributed over the entire cooking ingredients.

As explained above, this idea was developed by equipping the inner surface of the lid with a water drop ring that allows the steam generated by heating during cooking to quickly drip onto the cooking ingredients.
It has the excellent effect of promoting steam circulation and making it possible to easily prepare flavorful oven dishes with little loss of nutrients such as the natural flavors and useful minerals of cooking ingredients.

Especially in recent years, with the diversification of dietary habits, even in Japan, oven-cooked meats, fish meuniere, etc.
A variety of dishes, such as sautéing meat and vegetables, are becoming popular in ordinary households, and they can be cooked easily, deliciously, and with little loss of nutrients using an ordinary microwave oven without the use of expensive equipment such as gas ovens, electric ovens, or microwave ovens. The pot lid according to this invention that enables oven cooking is extremely useful,
It can also contribute to improving dietary habits.
