Abstract

PURPOSE:To contract the intervals between the centers of contacts and lessens the occupancy area of a connector on an electronic circuit board or the like and enable the high-density mounting of electronic equipment by engaging and connecting female contacts with male contacts alternately, and enabling the clearances between the external forms of the contacts to overlap the external shapes of the female contacts on the opposite side. しているA側ではコンタクトの中心間距離をまだ縮小出
来るのに、雄コンタクトと雌コンタクトの両者が嵌合接
続するために外形の大きい雌コンタクトのみを有してい
るB側にコンタクトの位置を一致させる必要があるため
、コネクタ外形が大きくなり電子回路基板上で占めるコ
ネクタの面積が大きかったり、ケーブル間の中継を行う
コネクタの直径が太くなったりし、電子機器の高密度実
装を行うのに不利になっていた。

ることが可能となりコンタクトの中心間距離を縮めるこ
とができ、電子回路基板上などでコネクタの占有面積が
小さくなり、電子機器の高密度実装が可能となる。

され嵌合し電気的接続を行うB側雌コントクトより長い
B側雄コンタクトとを交互に配設したことを特徴とする
コネクタ構造。
