Proceed to 02, and this time, the strobe switch S will be activated by the status signal.
Check whether W3 is ON. As a result, if the strobe switch SW3 is OFF, the process advances to step 103 to drive the photometry circuit 2, take in the data from there, and perform normal AE calculations, while if the strobe switch SW3 is ON. In step 104, the strobe AE is calculated. Thereafter, the process proceeds to step 105, where the distance measuring circuit 3 is driven, data from there is taken in and AF is performed, and the process then proceeds to step 106, where the state of the release switch SW2 is checked.

A known exposure operation is performed. Next, in step 108, it is checked whether the strobe switch SW3 is ON or not.
If it is ON, the process proceeds to step 110, where it is determined whether the previous flash photography was bounce photography or not, based on whether or not the bounce photography signal C is input. As a result, if it is not bounce shooting, step 111
Step 109 sets the strobe information recording bit to "1", which means that print printing sometimes requires correction, and then proceeds to step 109. Further, the step 108
If it is confirmed in step 110 that the strobe switch SW3 is OFF or that bounce photography is being performed, the process immediately proceeds to step 109. At step 109, winding of the film for one frame is started, and at the same time, the magnetic head 8 is driven via the magnetic recording circuit 7, and instructions are given to write information such as the shooting date into the magnetic storage section of the film 9 being fed. I do. At this time, step 111
If the strobe information recording bit is set to "1" in , this information is written at the same time as information such as the photographing date.

Since this is set to "1", wasteful correction processing is not sometimes performed during print printing, and it is possible to always obtain optimal photographs no matter which strobe photography is performed.

When shooting with a strobe in the first state in which uniform light distribution characteristics can be obtained, the information in the storage means is canceled, and the recording means records information that instructs the printing of the print onto the film to be sometimes corrected. Since this is not performed, it is possible to prevent unnecessary corrections from being sometimes performed during print printing, and it is possible to always take photographs with proper strobe photography.
