Conventionally, the refrigerant circuit of an air conditioner returns from the discharge side of the compressor to a four-way valve, an indoor heat exchanger, an expansion valve or a capillary tube, an outdoor heat exchanger, a four-way valve,
They are connected in the order shown above, passing through the accumulator and returning to the suction side of the compressor. In heating operation, the four-way valve is switched, and in the case of cooling operation, the outdoor heat exchanger, expansion valve or capillary tube, and the four-way It forms a route that passes through the valve and accumulator and returns to the suction side of the compressor. Taking heating operation as an example, the indoor heat exchanger is on the high pressure side and the outdoor heat exchanger is on the low pressure side while the compressor is operating. When the compressor is stopped by a signal from the remote control device, operation panel, or room temperature sensor, the refrigerant flows from the high pressure side to the low pressure side through the expansion valve or capillary tube, and the difference between the high pressure side and low pressure side gradually increases. decreases, and when the outdoor temperature is relatively high (2°C or higher), the difference disappears after about 3 minutes, and the compressor can be restarted. In this way, the compressor normally does not restart for 3 minutes, and a 3-minute restart prevention timer is provided in the current circuit of the compressor to prevent the compressor from starting operation even if an operation signal is issued. However, in large air conditioners, the distance between the outdoor unit and indoor unit may be far apart, and they may be connected by a long connecting pipe of about 30 meters. In this case, due to the influence of the connecting pipe, the high pressure side and low pressure In some cases, the pressure difference is not resolved. If the compressor starts operating with a large pressure difference, the pressure on the discharge side of the compressor becomes high, the load on the compressor increases and exceeds the starting torque, and the compressor may become locked. If this condition continues, the OCR (overcurrent relay) installed in the compressor will operate, and the OCR will seize up, causing a lock current to flow to the compressor motor, which could lead to an accident that could burn out the motor windings. It is occurring. In order to avoid such problems, as shown in Figure 5, a restart prevention timer (
A 3-minute delay timer) is provided. The restart prevention timer is usually set to a predetermined period of time (for example, 3 minutes), and
It starts at the same time as the compressor stops, and after 2 minutes of operation, the four-way valve is switched for a certain period of time (50 seconds), the refrigerant on the high pressure side flows to the low pressure side to reduce the pressure difference, and after the time is up, the compressor is restarted. The method of enabling the compressor enables smooth and reliable restart of the compressor. however,
As shown in Figure 4, when the compressor stops, the outdoor blower also stops, and the heat exchange capacity of the outdoor heat exchanger decreases, causing a delay in the rise in pressure on the low pressure side. In the case of air conditioners, the pressure difference between the high pressure side and the low pressure side remains high during the restart prevention time of about 3 minutes, and when the four-way valve is switched, the refrigerant gas flows from the high pressure side to the low pressure side. The refrigerant noise is generated even when the compressor is stopped and the noise is silent, causing psychological discomfort to users.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned conventional problems, and it is an object of the present invention to operate the outdoor side blower for a certain period of time after the compressor has stopped, and to The purpose of this invention is to provide a control method for an air conditioner that reduces the pressure difference between the low pressure side and the low pressure side, and reduces refrigerant noise as much as possible.

[Means for Solving the Problems] In order to achieve the above object, the outdoor heat exchanger blower is continuously operated for a certain period of time after the compressor has stopped operating, and the high pressure side and low pressure side after the restart prevention timer times out. I tried to reduce the pressure difference between the sides.

[Operation] According to the above configuration, by continuing to operate the outdoor blower for a certain period of time after the compressor is stopped, the heat exchange capacity of the outdoor heat exchanger is maintained and the pressure increase on the low pressure side is promoted. As a result, the pressure difference between the high pressure side and the low pressure side can be narrowed, the compressor can be restarted smoothly and reliably, and the refrigerant noise when switching the four-way valve can be reduced.

is sent to the indoor heat exchanger 3, where it exchanges heat with indoor air, is cooled and liquefied, is adiabatically expanded by a pressure reducer (expansion valve 4), enters the outdoor heat exchanger 5, and transfers heat from the outdoor air. It is taken away and vaporized, passing through the four-way valve 2 and accumulator 6 to the compressor 1.
It forms a path back to the suction side.

FIG. 3 shows a compressor 1 and an outdoor blower 1 according to the present invention.
This is a time chart showing the operating state of No. 4, which shows a state in which the outdoor blower 14 is continuously operated for a certain period of time (3 minutes) after the compressor 1 is stopped. By stopping the compressor 1, the indoor heat exchanger 3 is placed in a high pressure state and the outdoor heat exchanger 5 is placed in a low pressure state, and the refrigerant gas is gradually transferred from the high pressure side to the low pressure side through the expansion valve 4 (or capillary tube). flow, reducing the pressure difference. At this time, if the outdoor fan 14 continues to operate for a certain period of time while the restart prevention timer is activated, the outdoor heat exchanger 5 exchanges heat with the outdoor air to promote pressure rise on the low pressure side to a certain level. After the restart prevention timer times out, the pressure difference can be reduced.
The compressor can be restarted smoothly and reliably.
