Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 自動車のインストルメントパネルに、ステ
    アリングコラムを支持するとともに該インストル
    メントパネルの振動防止機能を持つステアリング
    メンバを車幅方向に横設した構成において、 上記ステアリングメンバを全体的に軽合金を用
    いて構成し、且つ該ステアリングメンバの略中央
    部分は、ステアリングコラムを支持する大径の管
    体によつて構成するとともに、該ステアリングメ
    ンバの左右両側部は、車体側部材に固着される小
    径の管体によつて構成したことを特徴とする自動
    車用ステアリングメンバ。 (2) 上記大径の管体と小径の管体とは、１本の
    管からスエージング加工手段もしくはバルジ加工
    手段により製作した請求項１記載の自動車用ステ
    アリングメンバ。 (3) 予め別々に成形した大径の管体と小径の管
    体とを溶接等の手段を用いて一体に接合固着して
    製作した請求項１記載の自動車用ステアリングメ
    ンバ。
