Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a joint structure providing a joint force with high joint strength by forming the joint structure in such a way that perforated holes are formed on both flange parts in the longer direction and intermittently in the mold-release direction and a molten resin can be cast into a curved cavity formed by the perforated holes in both flange parts at butted condition of end faces of half split bodies. CONSTITUTION:Perforated holes 33 and 43 formed in flange parts are connected in the longer direction under butted condition of half split bodies 3 and 4 to form a cavity path R1 curved up and down. When a molten resin a is cast into the curved cavity path R1 through a sprue, a joint force of the molten resin acts on the jointed end faces of peripheral edge faces of the half split bodies over the joint area expanded by the perforated holes 33 and 34 on the frange parts 31 and 32 and 41 and 42. In addition, the molten resin B spreads out of the outer side races or the flange parts through the perforated holes 33 and 43 catches the flange parts 31 and 32 and 41 and 42 and exhibits an anchor effect to joint both half split bodies 3 and 4 in the vertical direction.

[Prior Art] Blow molding is a common method for manufacturing hollow containers, but due to the structural strength or shape of the hollow body, primary injection molding is performed on the divided halves. A two-stage molding method has been proposed in which the butted parts are joined by secondary injection molding of resin (Patent Publication No. 2).
-20410). However, when the entire hollow body becomes large and the abutting portions require a certain level of bonding strength, there is a problem in that simply injection molding molten resin for bonding to the abutting portions is not sufficient.

[Problem to be Solved by the Invention] By the way, when trying to manufacture a hollow body by abutting halves, in order to give a constant joint strength to the joined part of the hollow body, it is necessary to It is desirable that both joint surfaces engage in the vertical direction, but in order to engage in the vertical direction, a sliding structure is attached to the mold to form an engaging part perpendicular to the mold-cutting direction. However, it is necessary to have a structure in which the slide core is retracted during die cutting, which poses the problem of complicating the die structure. Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a bonding structure that provides a high bonding force without providing such a slide structure in the mold.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The present invention forms a flange portion having a through hole in the die cutting direction on the joint surface, and increases vertical engagement force by molten resin injected to connect the through hole. The injection-molded halves are placed in a mold so that their end faces abut each other, and molten resin material for joining is injected into the abutting areas to join them. In the structure, flange portions facing each other at a constant interval are formed on the abutting end surfaces of each half body, and through holes are formed intermittently in the longitudinal direction in the die cutting direction in both flange portions, Joining of synthetic resin hollow bodies is formed such that the molten resin is injected into the meandering cavity formed by the through holes of both flanges when the end faces of each half body are in contact with each other. It's in the structure.

According to the present invention, since the abutting end faces are provided with flange portions in which through-holes in the mold removal direction are formed intermittently in the longitudinal direction, molding can be performed without attaching a slide structure to the mold. Moreover, since the through holes in the opposing flanges form a meandering continuous cavity, the molten resin injected into the cavity not only has a large contact area with the joint end surface, but also flows from the through hole to the back surface. This means that the anchor effect can be exerted and strong bonding strength can be achieved. (See Figure 7).

In the drawings, 1 is an upper mold, 2 is a lower mold, and hollow halves 3 and 4 are molded in each mold. The half body 3 has flanges 31 and 32 that protrude outward from a slightly elevated position on the periphery of the abutting end surface of the main body 30, and the flange surfaces are intermittently cut out along the longitudinal direction. A plurality of through holes 33 are formed in different directions. On the other hand, the half body 4 also has flanges 41 and 42 protruding outward at a slightly lowered position on the periphery of the abutting end surface of the main body 40, and a position on the flange surface that does not correspond to the through hole 33 is provided. Through holes 43 are formed intermittently in the longitudinal direction.

The through holes 33, 43 are preferably formed over the entire length of the peripheral edge of the half body (see FIG. 2). The through holes 33 and 43 formed in the flange surface are formed in the half body 3.
In the abutting state of FIGS. 4 and 4, a cavity path R1 that is continuous in the longitudinal direction and bent vertically is formed as shown in FIGS. When B is injected, the bonding force of the molten resin acts on the peripheral bonding end surfaces of the half bodies 3 and 4 over the bonding area enlarged by the through holes 33 and 43 in the flange portions 31, 32 and 41, 42. The bent cavity path R1 is formed by vertically penetrating holes at positions that do not face each other, but as shown in FIG.
The through holes 44 of the lower flange parts 41 and 42 may face each other diagonally and communicate with each other, so that the upper and lower flange parts simultaneously exhibit an anchor effect. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 9, inner through holes 35 and 45 that do not face each other and through holes 36 and 46 that face each other may be formed to exhibit an anchor effect.

As is clear from the above description, according to the present invention, injection molded half bodies are abutted against each other in their end faces in a mold, and molten resin for joining is applied to the abutting portions. In a structure in which material is injected and joined, a plurality of through holes penetrating in the die cutting direction are formed intermittently along the longitudinal direction of the flange part on the joining end surface of each half body to form a bent cavity. Therefore, it can be molded without adding a slide structure. In addition, when molten resin is injected into the bent cavity in the abutting state, the contact area with the flange part to be joined is expanded by the cavity, and the molten resin flowing to the outside of the flange part through the through hole is perpendicular. This results in directional engagement force being exerted, and strong bonding strength can be achieved.
