When spraying dampening water from the nozzle 20,
The amount of dampening water is adjusted in accordance with the M/C speed by changing the position of a needle with a tapered tip built into the nozzle 10. The needle valve is moved horizontally on the screw-in principle by a step motor or the like whose rotation angle is changed by an electric signal from a tachometer 13 or the like that can detect the M/C speed. The tapered tip of the needle valve moves within the water spout to vary the outflow area and adjust the amount of spray.

FIG. 1 shows the overall structure of a rotary press dampening device, which includes a plate 2 mounted on a plate cylinder 1, a dampening roller 6 adjacent to and in contact with the printing cylinder, and a dampening roller 6. It is provided with a water reciprocating roller 5, etc., which is in contact with and adjacent to the roller and can swing in the width direction. The dampening water 18 necessary for the plate 2 is led to the dampening water tank 14 through an ion exchange device or a pure water device 15 to reduce hardness components in the water. The dampening water tank 14 has air pressure maintained at a constant pressure by reducing the pressure of compressed air with a pressure reducing valve 16, and this pressure becomes the driving pressure to supply the dampening water 18 to the nozzle 10. . Incidentally, ink is supplied to the ink form roller 4 from an ink supply device not shown in this figure, and then supplied to the plate.

On the other hand, the compressed air is maintained at a constant pressure via a pressure reducing valve 17 and is supplied to the nozzle 10 as compressed air for spraying. Next, the structure of the nozzle 10 will be specifically explained with reference to FIGS. 2 and 3. A tapered needle 20 is inserted into a water flow path 22 which, like the needle 20, is tapered toward the distal end. The base end of this needle 20 is connected to the rotating cap 1.
It is fixed at 1c. A shaft 11a of a rotating device 11 such as a step motor fixed to a frame etc. with a support member 26
and the shaft 11b of the rotary cap 11c are connected by a coupling 28, such as a gear coupling, which allows the shafts 11a, 11b to move in the axial direction. The rotary cap 11c is connected to an O-ring holding jig 24 having a screw 27 on the outer surface by a screw 27 provided on the inner surface. This O-ring holding jig 24 is a
3 and is connected by welding or the like to a nozzle body 21 which is fixed to a frame or the like by a support member 26. In such a device, when the rotating device 11 rotates in response to a signal corresponding to the number of rotations or rotation angle from the control device 13, the rotating shaft 11a rotates the rotating cap 11.

As the rotary cap 11c rotates, the rotary cap 11c moves in the left-right direction in FIG. 2 with respect to the O-ring holding jig 24 fixed to the frame. Therefore, the needle 20 connected to the rotary cap 11c can move in the left-right direction according to the movement of the rotary cap 11c. Therefore, the cross-sectional area of the water flow path 22 at its tip changes, and the amount of water ejected is adjusted. In this way, the amount of dampening water supplied can be continuously changed according to the M/C speed.

Effects of the Invention The present invention provides a dampening water supply device using a spray for a rotary printing press, which includes a nozzle that has a built-in needle and receives dampening water and compressed air to form a spray, and a nozzle that has a built-in needle that forms a spray by receiving dampening water and compressed air. The printing machine is equipped with a needle drive mechanism that adjusts the amount of water ejected from the nozzle by moving it in the direction, a detector for the rotation speed of the printing press, and a control device that determines the required amount of dampening water from the rotation speed and moves the needle drive mechanism. By spouting dampening water from the nozzle in an amount corresponding to the rotational speed of the nozzle, the following effects can be obtained. Printing quality is improved because the amount of dampening water supplied changes continuously in response to the printing speed of the rotary printing press.
