[Prior Art] Switching of the detection pen of various conventional tablet-type input devices was performed by bringing the tip of the detection pen into contact with the tablet and detecting the backward movement of the tip. As this detection means, optical means by blocking the irradiation light of a light emitting diode (LED), magnetic means using a magnet and a reed switch, contact type means using a tact switch, etc. have been adopted.

[Problems to be solved by the invention] In the conventional optical means and magnetic means mentioned above, the switch stroke of the detection means is as large as 1 to 2 mm, while in the contact type means, the switch stroke is about 0.3 mm. However, the switching load
It is large at 100-150g. For this reason, when inputting characters or figures from a tablet, if the stroke of the switch is large, it takes time for the switch to turn on, so the first part of the input may be lost.
There was a problem in that signals could not be input due to the vertical movement of the detection pen. Furthermore, when the switching load is large, there is a problem in that characters and figures cannot be input using a writing instrument as if they were written from a tablet. Furthermore, if the operating direction of the detection pen is not along the axial direction, there is an inconvenience that the pressing force at the time of detection becomes high.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The present invention was made to solve the above-mentioned conventional problems, and includes a metal refill whose tip protrudes from the tip of the detection pen, and a metal refill that allows the refill to slide freely. A detection signal input control switch is provided, in which a sleeve to be fitted and a chuck capable of selectively holding either the metal refill or the conductive shaft are attached so as to be able to float and swing within the shaft cylinder using a spring, and are opened and closed by the swinging of the chuck. The control switch is composed of a cylindrical electrode and a cylindrical electrode arranged to be fitted and held with a gap between the cylindrical electrode and the cylindrical electrode. This paper proposes a signal detection pen that is electrically connected by contact between the outer surface of a columnar electrode and the inner surface of a cylindrical electrode.

In the rear shaft 4 of the shaft cylinder 1, a support member 11 made of an insulating material is screwed to a fixing member 10 made of an electrical conductor fixed to a circuit board 9 containing circuits such as switches and detection signals (not shown). . This support member 1
A cylindrical electrode 12 is pressed on the front inner periphery of the supporting member 11, a sleeve 13 made of a conductive material is screwed onto the front outer periphery of the support member 11, and a spring adjustment made of a conductive material is attached to the threaded portion of the inner periphery of the sleeve 13. A screw 14 is screwed together. A coil spring 15 made of a conductive material is stretched between the front inner step portion 10a of the fixing member 10 and the rear step portion 12a of the cylindrical electrode 12.
The front step portion 12b of the cylindrical electrode 12 is held in pressure contact with the front inner step portion 11a of the support member 11. The front part of the cylindrical electrode 12 is perforated in a shape such that it comes into surface contact with a cylindrical electrode 18, which will be described later, by swinging.
A coil spring 19 made of a conductive material is attached to the front between the internal stepped portion 14a of the adjustment screw 14 screwed into the sleeve 13 and the central protruding step 16a of the chuck 16 made of a conductive material. The sleeve 13 is latched to the front inner step 13a of the sleeve 13. Here, the outer periphery of the sleeve 13 is covered with a polyester film 20 to insulate it from the shaft tube 1. Incidentally, this polyester film 20 may cover up to the 9 portions of the circuit board. A connecting member 17 made of an insulating material is fitted and fixed to the rear end of the chuck 16, and a front portion of a cylindrical electrode 18 is fitted and fixed to the rear of this connecting member 17. As shown in FIG. 1, the tip of the chuck 16 has a metal reel 21 which is held in contact with the sleeve 6 so that it can swing freely.

To explain the operation, when the operator grasps the barrel 1, the switch part of the signal detection pen is in the state shown in FIG.
1. It is pressed against the sleeve 13 and has a gap. Here, when the operator touches the metal refill 21 to a tablet (not shown), the metal refill 21, the chuck 16, the insulating member 17, and the cylindrical electrode 1
8 is urged rearward and swings against the tension force of the coil spring 19, and this swing causes the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical electrode 18 and the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical electrode 12 to come into contact. Due to the contact between the cylindrical electrode 18 and the cylindrical electrode 12, the signal from the tablet detected by the metal re-feel 21 is transmitted to the metal re-feel 21, the chuck 16, the connecting member 17, the cylindrical electrode 18, the cylindrical electrode 12, the coil spring 15, the fixing member 10. are sequentially electrically connected and applied to a circuit (not shown). The cylindrical electrode 12 and the cylindrical electrode 18 are urged forward by coil springs 15 and 19, respectively.
Due to the contact of the metal reel 21 with the tablet, the cylindrical electrode 18 in particular becomes in a swinging or floating state, and since the tip of the metal reel 21 is also loosely fitted into the sleeve 6, the degree of freedom in the operating direction of the metal reel 21 is increased. Due to its large size, detection is possible even if the angle of the signal detection pen in contact with the surface of the tablet is tilted considerably.

[Effects of the invention] Since the present invention has the above-mentioned configuration, the signal detection pen can be operated with a light touch, and even if the signal detection pen is brought into contact with the signal detection pen at an angle, the switch stroke is reliably small, and the tablet feels like writing. This allows you to input characters, figures, etc.
