For this reason, it is extremely difficult to completely degas the product under reduced pressure and then mix it uniformly with the crosslinking agent, making casting injection work difficult, resulting in a decrease in the mechanical strength of the resulting polyurethane elastomer, etc. In addition to this, the reaction product of the chain polyol and organic polyisocyanate obtained has a short pot life, and there are time constraints on defoaming, casting, and injection operations, which significantly impedes workability. There was a problem that this caused the occurrence of defective products.

It is unambiguous because it varies depending on the type of organic polyisocyanate, the type of crosslinking agent, the quantitative ratio, etc., the use of a catalyst, the quantitative ratio of the oxybenzene alkyl derivative of the present invention, and the desired final properties of the polyurethane elastomer. Although it cannot be determined, the temperature ranges from room temperature to about 160°C, usually room temperature to about 90°C, and the reaction time ranges from several minutes to several hours. In other words, when producing urethane foam, the reaction time is extremely short. Even a short moment to a few minutes is fine, casting urethane

If the amount of the derivative is less than 0.001 parts by weight, there will be no effect of suppressing the increase in viscosity of the prepolymer;
If it exceeds 5 parts by weight, on the contrary, the viscosity of the system increases significantly and workability decreases, which is not preferable. Furthermore, the physical properties of the produced elastomer cannot be improved, and the object of the present invention cannot be achieved.

One or two monohydric phenols represented by The method of the present invention is characterized in that a crosslinking agent is mixed and reacted in the presence of a resol type initial condensate oxybenzene alkyl derivative obtained by reacting the above with formaldehyde or acetaldehyde in the presence of an alkali catalyst. According to the authors, the viscosity of the reaction mixture of a linear polyol and an organic polyisocyanate is significantly reduced, depending on the conditions, to 200 cps or less, and it is an intermediate composition that facilitates casting when performing injection molding of polyurethane elastomers. It is possible to suppress the rapid increase in viscosity of the prepolymer of the product, thereby facilitating the casting operation, and at the same time, facilitating defoaming and mixing/stirring.
