及び始端を光学的に検出するテープエンドセンサ
ーを有する磁気記録再生装置において、 上記発光素子をパルス点燈させる手段と、 テープ速度に応じてパルス点燈の時間を制御す
る制御手段と、を備えたことを特徴とするテープ
エンド検出装置。 (2) 上記制御手段が、テープ走行モードに応じ
てパルス点燈時間の制御を行うようになつている
ことを特徴とする請求項(1)に記載のテープエン
ド検出装置。 (3) 上記制御手段がリールパルス検出手段の出
力に応じてパルス点燈時間の制御を行うようにな
