In inkjet recording methods, water-based inks have recently been mainly used due to odor, fire hazards, and safety concerns.
Water, lower alcohols, etc., which easily evaporate, are used as the medium. By the way, when recording using the inkjet recording method, these inks are ejected from nozzles with a micro diameter of approximately 20 to 100 μm, so if the recording pause period is long, the viscosity of the ink may increase due to evaporation of water, etc. at the tip of the nozzle. Alternatively, there is a problem in that precipitates are generated, which tends to cause irregularities in printing and clogging. Furthermore, mold and bacteria grow in the ink composition and at the tip of the nozzle, resulting in solid matter that often clogs the nozzle and disrupts printing.

However, with these preventive measures, the important problem is that the cleaning liquid itself does not have sufficient anti-mold and anti-bacterial effects, leading to the growth of mold, which can lead to clogging of nozzles and disturbances in printing. Ta.

The cleaning liquids of Examples 1 to 3 and Comparative Examples 1 to 3 all had excellent cleaning power, and no foreign matter adhesion or nozzle clogging was observed. (b) Maintainability after cleaning After cleaning the nozzle once, it was left at room temperature for three months, and the nozzle was observed with a microscope to determine how dirty the nozzle was. In the case of the cleaning liquids of Examples 1 to 3, no adhesion of foreign matter, nozzle clogging, etc. were observed. However, in the case of the cleaning liquids of Comparative Examples 1 to 3, adhesion of foreign matter and clogging of nozzles, which were thought to be due to the growth of mold, were observed. (c) Storage stability The cleaning solution was sealed in a Teflon container and stored at 60° C. for 3 months. After storage, the cleaning liquids of Examples 1 to 3 were visually inspected, and neither sediments nor infusible substances were observed. However, in the cleaning liquids of Comparative Examples 1 to 3, the presence of sediments and floating substances due to mold growth was observed.
